10.01.2022 So tell me, what are we all doing with the kids this week to break the boredom? I’ve screen shot some puffy paint recipe and some cloud play dough looking stuff which I’ve been told makes the biggest mess when drying. I’ll pop Pics of the recipes up. My sewing time has significantly decreased with no school for Olivia and Isla going through a leap. ... We had fallen into a slump last week of too much tv and alternating between bluey bingo and the look at me game I was sitting there trying to figure out how I’m going to make this year work the way we had planned with this massive curve ball that has been thrown at us all. Instead of letting my anxiety grow how it usually does I decided I’d figure out the long term logistics of it all later. The house can be cleaned next week. I needed to focus on Olivia, who doesn’t understand and is missing all her friends, school, ballet and swimming. And the starving chipmunk lol. So after getting some inspo from walking around a cardboard box that wouldn’t fit in the bin all week we decided to make a castle for Olivia. All you need is Fridge/washing machine boxes- our local white goods shop had them their recycling bin, not a soul around so I swung past on my way home from woolies. A roll of masking tape. A kitchen knife And left over paint. Tell me what boredom breakers you guys are doing. Katy xx
