20.01.2022 A BIG day at the Westbury Show for Kawaii Alpacas and Hagley Farm School students and families. A sincere thank you to Billinda, John and Emily Schipp who condu...cted a fantastic day, which, whilst showing alpacas to the Meander Valley community, was really a day they ran for 17 committed students to show their animal handling skills. Our appreciation to parents who transported, supported and encouraged children to take on something different. Someone once said 'Never work with children and animals', well today we are glad we did. Some fantastic learning moments for students when unsure what to do with an uncooperative animal, but calm heads, logical thinking, resilience and determination prevailed!
