25.01.2022 Well tomorrow is it, then a 6 month rest Break Up is scheduled to start at 9am, starting of with the formalities(speeches and awards) then the fun begins, giant inflatable, water polo and the dive boards. Subway, drink and icy pole for all Nippers, kiosk at the pool will be open for those that may need a coffee.... Danielle will be there from 11am for photo collections. Also the white beach jackets will be available to purchase for $35, and VICI googles for $15 Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

23.01.2022 Caleb Silva has been busy competing in Pool Rescue and has done exceptionally well, he competed in 2 events and the results are 1st 50 meter brick carry and 1st 100 meter obstacles...well done Caleb

02.01.2022 Message for all U11-U15's Hi Everyone, Pool Rescue Carnivals are run in the off season with the carnival dates as follows -... - Sat 13th June Sunshine Coast Kawana Pool - Sat 27th June Gold Coast Miami Pool - Sat 25th & Sun 26th July State Pool Rescue Gold Coast Southport Pool - Fri 7th Sun 9th August Aussie Pool Rescue Gold Coast Southport Pool If your child is interested in nominating for a place in the Sunshine Coast Branch Team participation in these carnivals is looked upon favourably. The events also look like a bit of fun so any kids who would like to have a go just for the experience are very welcome. It may well appeal to the kids that really enjoy swimming but aren’t so keen on doing it in the ocean. TRAINING Amanda has organised Ben Macauley to coach anyone interested in the upcoming Pool Rescue Carnivals. Training will be on Wednesday afternoon 5-6pm at Kawana Aquatic Centre starting next Wednesday the 27 May. Please bring goggles and pool entry payment and arrive 4:45pm so training can start promptly at 5pm. Craig Silva has also offered to assist with the training sessions many thanks Craig. NOMINATIONS Please just complete the current carnival nomination form (the events are obviously not relevant but we will do what we always do and nominate them in everything and pull out on the day events they don’t want to do) and either hand into the office or email to [email protected] Cost is $25/carnival.
