17.01.2022 Welcome to October, It has come around so quickly ! What a year it has been with so many unexpected changes due to the Covid 19 Virus and the way we live our lives. Things are slowly getting back to some normality with our clubs meetings, socially distancing. The next meeting will be held at the Headland Golf Club on the 28th October, 11.00 am for a 11.30 am start. Members and guest are welcome to join us for lunch. 13.01.2022 VIEW National Convention 2019 was held at the Novotel Twin Waters from the 13-15 September, Past National Councillor Robyn Levings from Kawana Waters VIEW club hosted the National Presidents dinner. The students from Maroochydore High School debated on the 2019 VIEW Resolutions. Guest speaker Dr Craig Challen SC.OAM who is the joint-winner of the 2019 Australian of the Year and The Smith Family's National ambassador. Dr Challen was the recipient of the Oztek 2009 Diver of the Year award for his services to caving. In 2018 Craig, along with his dive partner Richard Harris were involved in a cave operation in Thailand to evacuate and the rescue of 12 children and an adult from the flooded Tham Luang Cave on the 24th July 2018.

07.01.2022 Looking back in March 2020. Kawana Waters VIEW Club members attended a morning tea held at Brisbane’s Government house on 11 March 2020 to celebrate 60 years of VIEW Club’s of Australia. Hosted by Governor De jersey and Mrs De jersey.

05.01.2022 Members and guests of the Kawana Waters VIEW Club enjoying an Anzac Day Luncheon held on at the Headland Golf Club on the 24 th April. Guest speaker Karen Harper spoke on the WW2 involvement on the Sunshine Coast. VIEW member Pam Thompson also spoke on her time in the service. An enjoyable day was had by all.
