25.01.2022 A few people got on the Upper Nymboida gorge this weekend but the predicted rainfall fell short for the creeks. Nice to see a little flow again in any case...

25.01.2022 Heads up again!! Hope I'm not jinxing it but this is the best forecast we've had for a long time

24.01.2022 This was snapped by Jason Free this morning at the Cod Hole on the Nymboida while they were just evacuating camp...

24.01.2022 If you're feeling a little dry and cold waiting for rain then now's the time to get your entry in for the Snowy Extreme Race so at least you'll have something to look forward to ;-) https://www.facebook.com/events/1995887340629125/?ti=cl

23.01.2022 Some old school paddlers out for a paddle on a low Upper Nymboida run!.... Not much left out of this edit for those of you interested in what it's like above Platypus Flat. Sit back, relax and enjoy The DOORS with some dodgy paddling thrown in ;-) https://vimeo.com/222066099

12.01.2022 Some news coverage.

11.01.2022 Great news!! Nymboida rafting is exciting again! They've survived the years of low rainfall and are back with a vengeance Check out these guys that have years of experience and get your punter friends back on the stunning Nymboida River!

07.01.2022 After a long absence and some incredibly low levels paddlers have something to talk about again. Up to 135mm in some parts of the plateau last night. Nymboida river at Nymboida has hit 4m and is still rising. Dust off your kayaks and put in some leave because there might be some fun to be had. Take care on the roads and rivers that haven't seen traffic for a while. Quite possibly dangers lurking that weren't there before such as logs or rock fall!

07.01.2022 When there's no water in the rivers....

07.01.2022 An awesome beginners whitewater section on the Upper Nymboida from the Wild Cattle Creek junction down to Platypus flat.

07.01.2022 Made the national news. Good stuff Lachie!

07.01.2022 OK!! So Brian Cork and Michael Taylor revisited a lesser paddled section of the Blicks River last Monday with the good flows and have documented some of this beautiful continuous river of grade 2-3 with one grade 4 rapid. Apologies for the +12min edit but we did say CONTINUOUS which meant ending up with over 40min of raw video. This should give everyone a good idea of the character of this really fun and relatively safe section of whitewater with one of the easiest car shuttles around. Sit back relax and plan to get out there again soon!! https://vimeo.com/169680671

07.01.2022 Thanks to Jason Free for spotting this one.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12qaHa05_GY .....It still feels like you're the first person there!!..... NOTE: A reasonable amount of creative license in the ordering of rapids and underutilisation of modern safety gear (LIKE HELMETS) ;-)

06.01.2022 Not to be taken lightly but something to aspire to after you have gained the skills and EXPERIENCE. Recent rains has meant the Bielsdown River was up again and predictions are looking OK for Easter this year. It requires between 0.8 and 1.2m on the Bielsdown gauge. Any more and it becomes extreme and lower than 0.8 makes some sections a real scrape. It's a long day at 21km so not suggested if you've been lounging on the couch. Plenty of grade 4,5 and 6 rapids here :-) https://vimeo.com/259848443

05.01.2022 Some more action from one of Dorrigo's classics!!

04.01.2022 It's been a while coming but finally there has been a little bit of run-off and levels have kicked up just a wee bit:

04.01.2022 Some footage from the Little Murray.

02.01.2022 Some Nymboida action! Where is the rain?

02.01.2022 Another hidden whitewater gem on the Dorrigo plateau. This one hasn't been paddled very often but rates very high on the extreme steep creek list. A renewed river description coming soon for the Blicks River from Marengo Road down to Dundurrabin.

01.01.2022 Get your boats loaded!! Creeks of Dorrigo have the best chance in a long time of getting flows this Sunday-Monday :-) https://www.yr.no//A/New%20South%20Wales/Bellingen/Dorrigo

01.01.2022 Some good footage of paddling on the plateau.
