23.01.2022 Just off the workbench is this commissioned job which includes :- an American Black Walnut serving board with 6 matching coasters both with a unique yellow gold resin inlay a huge chopping board made from American Black Walnut, Hard Maple and Cherry and finally a set of 4 coasters made from locally sourced Jarrah burl inlaid into a yellow Gold Resin bed with a high polished finish, and a one of a kind live edge holder made from rare and locally sourced Woody Pear timber.. ...These are all on their way up to the Top End as a job lot... 17.01.2022 Recently completed this awesome figured jarrah burl, bar table... mounted on top of a Keg...this is an absolute cracking piece of unique , hand crafted furniture.. The table top is routed on the underside to recess over the top of the Keg and then fixed securely with brackets... The underside of the table is sanded down to 180 and finished with 2 natural look seal coats. The top is sanded down to 400...then layered up with 4 coats of Epoxy...in the layers are a unique blend o...f colours and tints...and the end result is resemblant of the milky way... the photos absolutely do not do this piece justice, as the effects of the layers of epoxy do not show properly in the photo form...but the effect in person is stunning... this piece is sold...but something similar but completely unique is always achievable.. hit the inbox and we can discuss your ideas for your own one of a kind piece...
