25.01.2022 My reset button has been pushed and I’m refreshed & recharged! The last 7 weeks not being in the salon has been a break I was soon to discover was definitely needed! As much as I love what I do and appreciate the clients I’ve been lucky to gain, it was nice to have some me time after 10 years of hairdressing. Now I’m back and really enjoying the vibe of excitement as each friendly and familiar face walks in the door. Now the salon is getting its refresh button pushed! Over t...he coming months you’ll notice some changes around the place and I can’t wait to share them with you all! Sometimes we need to disconnect in order to reconnect -Britt xx

16.01.2022 Heya all my wonderful clients and followers! I have been back at work for 8 weeks now (I know, crazy right?!) and have just about caught up! Thank you to everyone for being so patient and understanding throughout this strange time. I really do appreciate it and am very lucky to have such a wonderful bunch of clients (148 to be exact, I had time to count when I was on corona leave). Some of you I get to see every month and others maybe twice a year but I appreciate you all! I... also want to extend my thanks to all the lovely people who support Kay Hair & Co by purchasing products, you guys rock! I want to also take this time to remind you guys about a few things that are still in place at the salon. -I( Brittny), do not accept new clientele as my books are full and unfortunately this is going to be in play for well... a long time. I’ll be real for a few seconds to explain... I take pride in my work and feel as though in order for me to continue to produce a high standard I need a work and personal life balance. I am happy with mine currently and don’t want to change that. -We are still trying our very best to maintain a high hygiene standard in the salon. This meaning please try your very best not to bring people along for your appointment (especially if it’s a long one) as the salon is not overly large and the 2sqm rule still applies! -If you are unwell please DO NOT come to your appointment, just let us know and we will find you an appointment for a later date. -We are not handing around magazines in the salon so we definitely suggest bringing your own reading material.
