25.01.2022 Over the last two months we’ve had 6 school dogs pass or recertify with us and certificates will be delivered soon! This week we’ve had 4 new recruits so will you please be upstanding for Barney at Waratah West, Lighthouse Lulu at Warner’s Bay Public, Lighthouse Ziggy at SEWS and Lighthouse Holly the Heaton School Hero! So excited to start work with our newbies but so proud of our dogs that are certifying too. 25.01.2022 Thank you Michael of Journey Labradoodles for entrusting us with your precious guardian Raven. She’s had a wonderful start with you and will continue her training with us until she flies back to the sunshine state. What an absolute doll she is!! A beautiful little pocket rocket!!

25.01.2022 Now these pics may initially not look as interesting as most of our posts but just bear in mind these pups are 10 weeks old and are doing a 5 metre drop stay in an unfamiliar area under moderate to high distractions. So very proud of our trainers!

24.01.2022 If you have a minute just watch this video. Our groomers see so many scared, fearful and reactive dogs due to lack of early habituation to grooming. Our pups and the pups from breeders that we recommend all have at least two bath and blow drys before leaving them at 8 weeks, and then are on a weekly schedule here until departure. This is why we have pups than are so conditioned to grooming it’s just second nature to them. Look how relaxed the beautiful Lighthouse Holly is with her last blow dry before leaving us at 12 weeks!

23.01.2022 Belloui Marvin left us today to join his forever family. I feel we must be doing this well when families have their second and third pup come through our puppy development program! Marvin, you are going to bring so much joy. You are brave, confident and oh so very funny!! Watch out Arthur, he’s heading in!

21.01.2022 Well I have some very exciting news regarding Hercules! We will be away for 5-7 days in October filming an ad. (They’ve clearly been impressed with my iPhone skills! ) I cannot reveal any information at all except that I need some help in training something! I need people unknown to him to meet me and practice recalls with him. He has to be able to leave me and run to strangers basically! His usual recall is excellent and he’s great with the tafe students, in fact he gets on the bus to leave with them but that’s here in his own environment! Pm if you’d be able to help. There will be a box of chocs or a tipple of something for helping

21.01.2022 It’s been a very different year for all of us, but it’s great to have the Tafe students back at the farm! We offer them the opportunity to have hands on experience with training our Oodles that are here holidaying with us. It’s great for them, great for your dogs to have some free training, and great for our pups with the enrichment items they make and bring! Let’s hope for more visits next year as there’s always a few laughs to be had as well as learning!!

19.01.2022 Ok so I’m normally in bed by now, but this is just too good not to stay up and share! Lighthouse Atlas is in training with us before he continues on with Maree to work towards becoming an assistance dog for Elly. We aren’t accredited to certify for assistance dogs but have had a few pups that have continued on to achieve their certification. Atlas is from a special blood line that have several school therapy dogs certified and I am becoming a pain in the butt for the breeder as I love this breeding line! Ally’s mum is a photographer so how lucky are we?!! I think you can already see the relationship that is developing between this little wet nose and his dry nose

17.01.2022 Happy holidays everyone!! Your pooches are having a blast here at the farm and we hope you all are too!! We are full to capacity and enjoying your dogs holidaying with us again I try my hardest to photo every dog but it’s not always possible as I’m not a photographer and only have an iPhone! To have a daily photo please ensure you book so that we can allow plenty of time!

17.01.2022 Our puppy lessons and pre puppy lessons are for all breeds. Just look at Odin, a beautiful 10 week old lab x cattle dog...how adorable All initial lessons are booked in for 2 hours, have a puppy pack included which has a file full of handouts, enrichment items and the guarantee of ongoing support. Look at his face, absolutely adorable and he’s going to be so much easier to live with now that we’ve put some management and strategies in place!

14.01.2022 Our pups in training have had the most fabulous day learning how to swim! No, it’s not a given! We have to help and teach. These little troupers smashed it Magilla, Butter, Lighthouse Violet and Polo Geez, another rough day in the office! thank you Emma and Mr B for use of the pool!

10.01.2022 My Hercules... by Samantha Kay! Due to everyone asking how we’ve trained him to do what he does we thought we’d let you know that it has not been easy and he’s no natural!! We love this goofball so much but he has in no way been easy. He was placed with a family at 5 months, rehomed at 6 months and we took him in at 7 months. He was destructive beyond belief, had allergies, gut issues, genetic problems etc. we worked our buts off to help him. We’ve all trained him to help him. When everyone says they want a ‘Hercules’ we say are you prepared for the work involved and the expense?! We wouldn’t be what we are without him ... well we would be financially better off and emotionally more stable, but we adore him!! There’s not a day goes past that he doesn’t make us smile

05.01.2022 Theodore, Teddy the Wonder Dog, as named by his family, has left us and joined his forever family as a therapy dog for Miss T! Different dogs for different jobs is what we stress here at Kaysadale. This young pup at only 8 months is making a huge difference in the life of his owner and we couldn’t be prouder of this team. They are both loving, nurturing but with a little bit of sassy humour that keeps us all laughing! A beautiful combination

05.01.2022 We love having our guardian families come to visit their dogs babies at Lovedale Labradoodles Cuddles all around! We appreciate how much the guardian families miss their dog and we are so grateful to them for being part of our breeding journey. Khara loved seeing her beautiful family! It was a lovely experience for everyone! Even Granny came and fell a little bit in love with them all

So many people have messaged to say they’ve seen Hercules in the Toyota Yaris ad on tv tonight, that I thought stuff it.
