25.01.2022 My workshop and studio will be open this weekend as part of the Open Studios West Gippsland. 20 artists on the map and a whole weekend to explore. Just $5 for the whole weekend to visit as many studios as you wish.

24.01.2022 I've put up some Cloisonne (some of it quite vintage) and also some findings in the findings folder if anyone is wanting to browse, head across to the Bead and Buy Overstock group to buy. If you're not already a member you can request membership.

24.01.2022 Well what can I say? Your support and lovely comments on Saturday blew me away!!! Bead and Buy was our last event selling beads and findings, however as you guess there's a lot of stock still to move. I will endeavour to start putting up batches of bargains here and on @Bead and Buy Overstock and will welcome pre-booked visits to my workshop/warehouse. It's been a wonderful time sharing my passion and knowledge with my beady friends.

MOST OF OUR STOCK WILL BE DISCOUNTED BY 50% Much of our stock will be pre packaged in job lots at huge discount. e.g. bags of chain in 5metre lots some mixed some same type which will be at least 50% discounted. What else can you expect to find? * Surprise packs - boxes of delights at 50 - 80% off original prices * Mixed bags of findings in... colours or types of findings, reduced to clear. *Cabochon packs *Charm packs * pre made necklace cords packs at HUGE discount, below cost in some cases. We will not be setting up a display, there will be large boxes placed on tables for you to fossick through. For us it will be a NO FRILLS kind of day. 21.01.2022 We are heading to Geelong this weekend to be guest trader at Beaders Guild of Geelong this Sunday. We're very lucky and delighted to be making a weekend of it thanks to Lesley Anne for hosting us. We're limited in space so Kay is packing the boxes to cover a selection of the most popular styles of findings: Clasps Bead Caps and Cones Bails ... and some spacer beads. If there's space we'll also pop in some earring findings too. Make sure you message us today or tomorrow morning (no later than 11am) if you are wanting specific items brought just for you ;)

19.01.2022 I've just finished sorting the new batch of stranded embroidery cottons in readiness for trading at Fibre Arts Australia event next week. I'm so looking forward to catching up with many dear friends. The car will (as usual) be bursting at the seams with goodies for participants to add to their stashes....

We feel that any gathering whatever the size brings with it a risk of spreading the virus and we would rather play our part in keeping all our loyal patrons as safe as we can. 08.01.2022 I have come to the decision recently that I will retire from the bead and finding side of my business Kay’s Artycles. Pretty much immediately.... I will look to selling out of my stock and if any of the beading community are interested I’m open to selling all or part of the bead/finding business with associated stock and a 6 month period of mentoring. Please feel free to message me if you are interested. I will attend an occasional Bead and Buy event to divest myself from some of my vast stock of treasures and will also commence highlighting some bulk deals on this Kay’s Artycles page and Bead and Buy Overstock. I will continue to stock some art supplies and assorted arty junk which I will offer as usual at Fibre Arts Australia events as a Trader.

02.01.2022 We are home, truck not unpacked yet, but we wanted to thank everyone for their support before the last of the hard work commences. We'd particularly like to thank those who helped with loading and unloading and Margaret Mueller for helping the whole way through Expo. We couldn't have done it without you!

01.01.2022 We are very sorry to say that we have to cancel our planned June 20th Bead and Buy. Although we are slowly going to be coming out of lock down we will be no whe...re near the numbers allowed to congregate together by June. We, (Jo, Kay and Prue) are keeping our fingers crossed for August 29th but we will let you know in plenty of time if we are allowed to run an event and we feel safe for us all to get together.
