24.01.2022 Melbourne's Rex Hirst (Lets Talk Kitchens & Interiors) entered this gorgeous green kitchen in the 2020 #kbdidesignerawards. We loved the earthy tones of this forever space: green-veined marble, leather handles and timber details sit beautifully alongside the Dulux Deep Bottle Brush doors and panels. Can't wait to see what the LTKI team produce this year!

24.01.2022 Queensland designer, Jo Byrom (Jo Byrom Interiors) completely reinvented her client's existing living areas to create an all-new kitchen space with a spectacular view and a long list of features. The kitchen was a worthy contender in the 2020 #kbdidesignerawards, and we hope to see more from Jo this year.

23.01.2022 Melbourne's Jack Avison (@nosivacustomcabinetry) entered this special space into the #kbdidesignerawards last year. We loved Jack's natural palette and his layering of patterns, and hope to see more of his work in the 2021 lineup. (61 days to get your entries together )

22.01.2022 Monday musings...

20.01.2022 More #laundrylove from last year's #kbdidesignerawards program. NSW Member, Tameka Moffat (Tameka Moffat Designs) combined oak-toned cabinetry, antique white kit-kat tiles and a striking black sink and tap to make this laundry loveable for a very long time. Have a sweet space to show off this year? Entries close 1 June - link in bio.

17.01.2022 Or 56 days, to be precise... Are you getting your entries together? If you have downloaded your entry pack yet, get your skates on. You'll find the link in our bio.

15.01.2022 Flashback to a 2020 finalist and Kitchens Plus winner. Queensland’s Ashley Maddison (AM Interior Studio) went to town with this inner-city kitchen. Ashley made the most of the curving capabilities of her selected materials, seamlessly combining trowel-finished concrete and Staron Solid Surface in this structural masterpiece. Can't wait to see what this talented designer brings to the table in 2021!

13.01.2022 Designed a kitchen or bathroom worth bragging about? We'd love to see your work lined up in our #kbdidesignerawards program of 2021. You have ten weeks to get your entry together - learn more at https://bit.ly/3seRJdG.

10.01.2022 #laundrylove While we're all hearts about kitchens and bathrooms here at KBDi, we have lots of love in the tank for the lovely laundries that come our way. New South Wales designer, Donna Allen (The Space Within) won the Design Space (Laundries) award with this spectacular space. Doesn't it just make you wish it was washing day?

10.01.2022 Another one of the stunning spaces we saw in 2020. Long-time KBDi Member, Frank Iaria (Mint Kitchen Group) layered the elements beautifully in this bathroom: we especially love the copper highlights against the green-toned natural marble mosaics.

10.01.2022 We introduced our all new 'Design for All Abilities' Awards category on Friday. If accessible design is a part of your practice, check out the entry requirements here: https://bit.ly/31tTis9

08.01.2022 Perth's Caitlin Slater (Smart Style Bathrooms), designed this beauty for a heritage listed home in WA. We love seeing how talented designers deliver traditional spaces, and hope to see more stunners like this one in this year's #kbdidesignerawards program. (54 days to go... #justsayin )

04.01.2022 Sydney's Sari Munro (Insidesign) entered this lovely laundry in last year's #kbdidesignerawards Design Space category. The room served three essential services, providing laundering facilities, guest amenities and the all-important accommodation of the family's much-loved feline.

04.01.2022 Another fabulous flashback from the 2020 #kbdidesignerawards. Love this Master Suite space designed by Sonja McAuliffe of Archertec Interiors. Our ACT cohort is blowing us away with their talent - can't wait to see what they bring to the program in 2021.
