15.01.2022 To save fabric testing a 30s pattern I decided to make a tiny little dress. I have surprised myself with how much I learned making it. Here it is hanging so i can see how the skirt falls as the bias stretches out.

09.01.2022 Just a normal Saturday night, spending my time trying to work out how they finished the neckline on Liesl's pink dress from The Sound of Music. The original dress is in private collections so no close up images online.

06.01.2022 An interesting image I came across which clearly shows we have been editing selfies for longer than people might realise. Someone hand painted the waist of this lady smaller. When you look at the side of her skirt you can clearly see the texture of the lace which is completely smooth along her waist.

04.01.2022 Today sequins. Sequins can be a great option, they are on a stretch base which drapes and fits easily.
