14.01.2022 CHECK THIS OUT FITNESS CREWS!!!! SO WHEN IT IS REALLY HOT FANS WILL BE ON

14.01.2022 With lockdown restrictions lifting tomorrow night, it means that from Monday my face to face fitness classes will be able to resume, possibly even indoors, but if not at least outdoors (I will confirm as soon as I know more). I will also be back massaging, just rocking a mask KBx

13.01.2022 What a great compromise

13.01.2022 Yesterday it was finally hot enough (for me) to swim, so at 46 years young I gave paddle boarding a go for the first time after watching the kiddies all holidays You really are never too old to try something new It was so much fun and an awesome all over workout. Joey wanted to come too Bless him But he definitely has no coordination so when you are learning I recommend it just be yourself on the board I will admit I did fall off once during the day but once you fall ...off you kind of have more confidence because what is the worst that is going to happen.....you just get wet If I got a bit tired or unsteady I just went back to my knees to regroup. Elise and Jack taught me. They are very good at it Tips for successful padde boarding: 1. First kneel with your knees wide and in the centre of the board. Practice this for a while to get a feel for it 2. Come to your feet one step at a time, keep your feet wide (Sorry about the bum pick but it shows you what I mean and was the only one that was half decent to post). 3. Then just don't make any sudden movements while standing (until you find your feet so to speak). Oh and giggling does not help you keep your balance. There was alot of giggling and as soon as you giggle the whole board rocks and then it is even harder to keep your balance. So funny!!!! The kids thought it was hilarious 4. Use your core muscles to balance. So think of centring yourself by pushing your belly button through to your spine and switching on those abs like we do in my Pilates Strong classes 5. Last of all, and very important, always keep your knees slighly bent. That helps you leverage your centre of gravity as the board moves underneath you I would love to hear something new you have tried lately Feel free to share in the comments below KBx

12.01.2022 Great online workout Thursday night Fitness Crew Joey was happy to hang with me while we worked out. Feel free to share a piccy in the comments if any of your fur babies or kiddies joined in with you and you were able to capture it. This is Joey and I after. I am exhausted and Joey wants to go for a walk now because that is our routine Nevermind I will throw the ball to him instead. That will wear him out I feel better for working out as I was feeling a bit flat today t...o be honest. Humans love routine, and when part of our routine is temporarily taken away, it can cause feelings of unrest. So I will always try to provide you with options so you can always workout, even if we are in lockdown. Hopefully it will help us get through these hard times, keep a bit of routine in our lives and help us stay sane Much love Kylie xxx

10.01.2022 Just did the new Metafit Nazare Workout my fitness crews start in Term 4, which commences in two weeks time. It is a gnarly combination of strong functional movement exercises. I really like the combination and although it is challenging, I show options for all fitness levels so we can all work at our own "hard" If anybody would like to join us face to face, there is one spot left on Tuesday at 6pm: * 6pm Tuesday HIIT - 1 spot * 6.45pm Tuesday "Pilates Strong" - FULL... * 9.10am Wednesday HIIT - FULL * 6pm Thursday HIIT - FULL ONLINE ZOOM CLASSES STILL HAVE SPOTS AVAILABLE at 6pm Mondays (HIIT) and 6pm Wednesdays (PILATES STRONG) as numbers don't have to be capped online. Feel free to contact me for more information or to book in KBx

08.01.2022 How cute is this little man at my Wednesday morning mums and bubs outdoor fitness class yesterday Please note that during the 6 day lockdown all my scheduled classes will be available online via Zoom. Stay safe and sane everyone ... KBx

08.01.2022 I don't get offended by reponses like these, in fact a responses like this is very sayisfying

07.01.2022 Excited!!!! Due to the further easing of restrictions, my Updated Business Covid Plan now allows me to have equipment introduced back into my fitness classes. I am super excited about these babies I have purchased and will be using in my Pilates classes to kick off the term in a week's time Bring it on!!!!! New routines, new music and you have to love a new burn Just a heads up to my online Pilates crews, the bands are optional, the new exercises still burn without a band, but I am pretty sure you can get your own band from Naracoorte Sportspower if you would like the extra burn experience In advance, "You're welcome, it's my pleasure"

07.01.2022 My Revised Covid Safe Plan has just been emailed to me from the SA Government, with amendments to be in line with the easing of restrictions as from midnight tonight My face to face fitness classes are now able to be held indoors again. Everyone just needs to continue to bring their own exercise mat, towel and drink bottle. We are required to continue our physical distancing and temperature checks upon arrival New clause in my plan approved by the SA Government states that ...fans are able to be used inside, at my discretion, depending on the temperature, when air-conditioning is not available, as long as everyone keeps their physical distance to prevent the spread of droplets Very grateful for this Super excited to have all my face to face participants back this week KBx

05.01.2022 Here is confimation that fans are able to used when it is extremely hot but not all the time. At least on days like Tuesday just gone, when it was 34 degrees at 6pm, we can use them

05.01.2022 All my face to face classes will be online via Zoom for the next 6 days while we are in full lockdown. All you need to do is download the free Zoom App and I will send you a link to the class you are booked into, the day or evening before your scheduled class Now is also a great time to make up any classes you may have missed this term as online I have no restriction on numbers. So sorry but I also am unable to massage or see my PT client's during lockdown. All client's with appointments booked over the next 6 days will be contacted individually to confirm cancellation. Thinking of SA Businesses during this challenging time

05.01.2022 ATTENTION FITNESS CLASS CREWS: All face to face classes will be held on the grassy area beside the Presbyterian Church Hall for the next two weeks while the new Covid Restrictions are in place. There will be no access to the hall during this time. Remember to still bring your own Mat, water bottle and towel. Temperature testing and social distancing will continue as per normal... KB

05.01.2022 So apparently this is how our donkey kicks should look

04.01.2022 ATTENTION FITNESS CREWS & PT CLIENTS: As from midnight tonight, the South Australian Government has announced, that all South Australian Gyms and Recreation Centres are to remain closed for two weeks. For my participants this means that for the next two weeks all face to face fitness classes will be held outdoors at the their original scheduled times, rather than at the Presbyterian Church Hall. Please bare with me while I work out the best venue. Classes will either be held ...on the grassy area beside the Presbyterian Church Hall (I just need to check out the quality of the grass beside the hall first) or Memorial Oval. At this stage all PT and Group PT sessions will also continue as normal as they are already held outside. We will continue our temperature testing as per normal. ATTENTION MASSAGE CLIENTS: Massages will still go ahead, the only change at this stage is that, as your Therapist, I am required to wear a mask. I will also resume temperature testing before your massage treatment. KB

04.01.2022 Well that was dark but ok So just did the new "Dark Matter" Metafit routine my fitness crews will be doing for the last three weeks of this term, starting Monday. Not sure what I think about the burpee finisher each round but at least it's a change to our sprint finisher in our last routine I know Elita loves burpees so one person might be happy

04.01.2022 Especially in the evenings!!!

04.01.2022 Super excited! New Product Alert! Collagen is Coming Soon!

04.01.2022 Breakdown of the restrictions in South Australia: Outdoor fitness or recreational activities are permitted if the person who provides or conducts the activit...y complies with clause 16 (if relevant) An approved COVID Management Plan (clause 16) is required if more than 1 000 people are reasonably expected to be present at or participating in the activity Restricted premises include gymnasiums and recreational centres Currently there appears to be no cap on the number of participants for outdoor fitness training in the directions. There also appears to be no suggestion of limitations on equipment or the types of activities performed. With regard to training on your premises (e.g. car-park area) this is still unclear. We will continue to seek clarity on this. We recommend to utilise public spaces (parks, fields, beach, oval etc.) with the appropriate council permission. We would like to reiterate that Fitness Australia was not consulted regarding this decision and we are urgently seeking a meeting with the Chief Public Health Officer and health authorities immediately to overturn this decision. #FitnessIndustry #FitnessAustralia #PersonalTrainers #PT #SAGyms #Update #SA #Gyms #GymOwners

02.01.2022 I had to share Elita!

01.01.2022 In lockdown, we need to focus on what we CAN control - we still choose if we exercise or not. We still choose to eat well or not. Focus on choosing more behaviours that will move you toward your goals than away, and lockdown won't be quite so bad Let's hope that in the press conference at 11.30am one of the restrictions to be lifted sooner than later, will be that we are allowed to get outside by ourselves to exercise, whether we have a fur baby or not, for everybodies mental healthBut if not, there are plenty of free workouts online we can do at home. Just choose something for your fitness level and that you like to do, whether it be HIIT, pilates, yoga or simply do some meditation. Or you are welcome to join any of my live online classes during lockdown. Just inbox me for more information KBx
