17.01.2022 Super busy day for Tash. Aqua was refreshing first up then onto her Tuesday Exercise Physiology, this is an appointment that Tash has grown and progressed every week for the last 8 weeks. I’m so proud of her. From there it was off to the hairdresser where she called out to Santa and his reindeer for a sneaky Pic. Time for a nap for all. 3 more sleeps yay.

08.01.2022 WE ARE HIRING........... KB Infinity Support are looking for fun, motivated Support Workers/ Mentors with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of disability participants. THE ROLE - DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER/ MENTOR... Working with Adults in a variety of settings including In-Home care and Community Access and Participation. Shifts are located between Noosa and Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast. Multiple positions available. Duties may include, though not limited to: - Daily living assistance including meal preparation, cleaning, homeschooling - Personal care prompting and assistance - Community Access and transportation - Providing positive behaviour support THE ORGANISATION - KB INFINITY SUPPORT KB Infinity Support is a registered NDIS provider, currently providing Supported Independent Living and Community Access for adults and young people with disabilities on the Sunshine Coast. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS - Minimum 12 months Paid experience working in a similar role - QLD Working with Children check (WWCC) or willing to obtain - QLD Yellow Card or willing to obtain - Hold or studying a Certificate III or Diploma in a related field - Flexible availability - Able to cover AM/PM, Sleepovers, Weekends shifts as required - First Aid Certificate issued within the last 3 years (or willing to obtain) - CPR Certificate issued within the last 12 months (or willing to obtain) - Evidence of work rights (e.g. Passport or Birth Certificate) - Unrestricted QLD Driver's Licence - Comprehensively insured vehicle that can be used for work purposes - Smartphone (iOS or Android) - Government COVID 19 Certification HIGHLY REGARDED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - Positive Behaviour Support Training/ Experience - Experience working with ASD - Previous Experience or qualifications in Registered Nursing would be advantageous - Hold or be working toward a relevant Qualification (Cert III or higher) - Be available for an immediate start and flexibility with hours/days. 04.01.2022 Malia had such a great day today! Caught up with mum and dad and we got to say Happy Birthday Kay! Morning tea at the spit with them, a nice walk in Mooloolaba and then late lunch at BFresh smashing a huge plate of vegetarian lasagne.
