08.01.2022 Need an Intercom unit for visitors to call from your locked front gate but getting a cable to the gate sounds expensive. Try a GSM Intercom unit, these units are operated by a SIM card and only need power or Solar at the front gate to operate. When a visitor calls your pre-programmed phone number via the intercom you can then open your gate by pressing a key button on your phone. The units can also be programmed to accept authorised incoming numbers for auto entry to the ele...ctric gate, just call the intercom number and when it detects an authorised number it will open the gate without costing a phone call. Available in Australian made version or imported units. Video intercoms also available that can call your Smart phone via your existing internet connection. Wifi or hardwired, requires power.
