03.01.2022 Gary the Karlkurla is enjoying the new Nature Passport that the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and Nature Play WA have put together. What are they? The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Nature Passport is designed to encourage family time outdoors, promoting social connection, physical and mental health. ... The Nature Passport highlights some amazing open spaces right here on our doorstep, including some natural assets that you may have not yet explored. Valuable input for the resource was sought from local native plant experts from the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Urban Landcare Group. The Nature Passport has activity pages to place stickers, stamps, cut-out and paste mission badges, staple a leaf and write adventure stories. It also contains an activity map and 15 things to do in Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s nature-rich locations. The resource aims to make nature play part of everyday life, encouraging children’s natural curiosity and creativity. Where do I get one? There are several places to grab your free Passport - KBULG is one of those locations! Pop into the nursery between 8am and 12 noon Monday to Friday and grab your passport. The KBULG community nursery is located in Karlkurla Bushland Park.
