24.01.2022 We're back THIS WEEK! Wooh yeah!!! Before you rock up at church this week, please read all of the below information... Due to current restrictions of 20 person gatherings, we'll be splitting up into boy and girl groups - girls will be having a 'Movie and Spa Night' at CIC between the usual hours of 6:30-9pm. And feel free to wear your most comfy pyjamas The boys will be meeting at CIC at 6pm to then head out to Uriarra Crossing for a CAMPFIRE NIGHT! Owh yeah! 17.01.2022 Hey guys, we hope you're doing super well! It feels like ages since we've seen you all. Just a little update - we are keeping an eye on how restrictions are changing and working on a plan of how/when we can return back to youth - so keep your eyes peeled here for further updates down the track This week we find ourselves in Romans 12, with an awesome, powerful verse. To give some background: the world around us (whether we like it or not) is constantly shaping and forming u...s. This isn't always a bad thing, but there are unfortunately a lot of not-so-great things that influence us - habits, mistakes, ways of thinking, behaviours... you get the idea. It doesn't take much looking around us to realise that the way we live isn't really perfect. Going through the motions of life can even get us feeling down, angry, hurt, resentful... you name it. However, there is a way to live that is SO much better. In this verse, Paul calls us to turn away from the way of living that the world presents, and to be transformed by letting God renew our minds. This is the path that leads to feeling peace, fulfilment, purpose and understanding who we are! It's something that ALL of us deep down crave, but unfortunately we often go looking in other places which will never truly satisfy. But if we are willing to trust God, to read and believe in His word and promises, there is so much freedom and true life to be found. As this verse says, we literally begin to be transformed - our ways of thinking change, our joy is more unshakeable, we feel security and belonging... pretty amazing stuff. Anytime you're beginning to feel the stresses of this world creep in, just return to this verse and ask God to renew your mind - He's ready and so willing

12.01.2022 Hey all you wonderful people! Here’s a little encouragement for your day. Maybe you’ve thought that you’re not special enough for God to want you. Or that God wouldn’t really care if you wandered off a little from Him. Or maybe you’ve wandered off and feel lost and don’t know how to find your way back to Him. Well here’s some good news for you.... God, the creator of the universe, loves each and every one of us. In Matthew 18:12-14, Jesus tells an example of how God cherishes each individual person! Even if God had a group of hundreds of people following Him, but sees one person wandering in the wrong direction, who is lost, He will leave the rest of the group and search for that ONE person. It’s crazy to think that we are so precious to Him. So remember, God sees YOU as worthy-enough to search for. Let Him be the shepherd of YOUR life, because He is the best Shepherd!

07.01.2022 Hey team, In light of the current COVID situation we’ve sadly had to cancel/postpone youth camp for this summer. We’ve been holding out for the past few weeks hoping that the situation might improve, but at this stage we feel the responsible thing to do is to postpone camp until such a time that we can keep each other and the community safe. All payments made so far will be refunded in full.... We’re currently working on some alternative plans for the summer period, so stay tuned for further updates Please contact us if you have any questions
