15.01.2022 Santini Australia | Maybe not everyone knows that our factory is based in Bergamo, Italy. The same Bergamo that in early March was hit hard by the Covid-19 pand...emic and has been, and still is, the hardest hit city in the whole country. We had to face this emergency and we had to do it fast because we were in the middle of it. People were desperate because it was impossible to find protective face masks, so we decided to do something and we converted our production department to produce them. We worked hard for weeks to deliver masks first to our community in Bergamo, then to the rest of the country. We developed a surgical face mask that got the certification from the National Sanitary Institute to be used also by doctors and staff in hospitals and a washable barrier mask for community use that we distributed to companies and private citizens. We are happy now to make these washable barrier masks available to everyone through local Australian bike stores or via www.santinisms.com.au

With most border restrictions easing on Friday, our local businesses can begin the road ...to recovery as we start to welcome tourists back to Murray-Wellington. The McGowan Government is backing our local tourism industry by investing $1 million in over 70 events across regional WA, including the Dwellingup 100 which is being held on 19th September 2020. We look forward to once again hosting tourists and events in Murray-Wellington.

09.01.2022 Were back. 6am tomorrow we can finally open our dining room to 20 people at a time. Honestly this last week has been really painful for us. Weve had to turn... away hundreds of wonderful guests as we were not yet ready to seat people, but finally we are ready to go. Disposable menus, guest sanitising stations, contact tracing systems are now fully in place. Tomorrows weather looks frightful- but the heater will be on, and the coffee will be hot. 07.01.2022 Saturday Group Ride - Modified With the new updated gathering restrictions put in place by the West Australian State Government we are happy to announce that the bunch ride is back on. The new regulations state that groups of up to 10 people can now exercise together outdoors. Due to these new regulation the group ride will be a little different to pre-Covid group rides. We will ride in groups of 10 or less with the groups being organised based on speed, with the fastest group leaving first. The meeting time will be 6:30am from the shop. We hope everyone will respect social distancing rules and respects the guidelines which have been put in place. We look forward to seeing everyone again tomorrow morning. 02.01.2022 Langford Park update. Watch your head complete. Thanks to all the volunteers again I could not have done it without you. ... Thanks to Laurie from Loztrails for the work on both woodleys and wyh, love your work mate. Will leave closed until Tuesday night as will bed in nicely with the rain coming,hopefully. Trail was very challenging as most features had been eroded and destroyed over the years. We have tried to keep the nature of the trail similar but as with new features ,as the old ones were non existent, and also it had no drainage at all. Be aware it now rides differently. Make sure you cruise down it the first time and familiarise your self before going full tilt.
