19.01.2022 WE CAN DO ADAS CALIBRATIONS! DO YOU HAVE SENSORS OR A CAMERA IN YOUR CAR OR WINDSCREEN? What is ADAS technology?... Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), are electronic systems that helps the vehicle driver while driving or during parking. When designed with a safe human-machine interface, they are intended to increase car safety and more generally road safety. What is a calibration event? Recalibration events include windscreen replacements, wheel alignments, change of wheels, tyres or geometry changes or disconnection or partial removal of the camera from its mounting. The vehicle guidebook should provide you with a full list of recalibration events for your vehicle. Can I use the vehicle if the recalibration has not been done? You should not rely on the ADAS technology within the vehicle if you suspect that the recalibration was faulty, and you must ensure all those who might drive the vehicle are also aware to not place reliance on the system. Important to note: Most vehicle manufacturers recommend that the driver should have their ADAS camera recalibrated after a recalibration event. It is important that you check the vehicle guide book for your car to understand what is recommended for your vehicle. Typically, a vehicle could expect to experience any number of events in a year that affect things like suspension or tyres, impacting upon the reliability of the camera recalibration.

The intent of this new customer booking procedure is to reduce the risk of infection to CMT staff, customers and the wider community We kindly request the you follow the below procedure when booking your vehicle at CMT: Phone or email to make a booking On day of your booking - park on the street Lock your vehicle Place your keys in the green locked letter box DO NOT COME TO RECEPTION If you need to discuss any quires or report any defects to be inspected- please phone reception on 07 49 825 243 (the phone number is also on the building) A CMT staff member will collect Keys out of locked letter box Your vehicle will be serviced or repaired as per booking Invoice will be completed You will be phoned by a CMT staff member when your vehicle is ready to be collected You will be required to pay your invoice over the phone or by direct bank deposit & collection from a designated area in our yard will be arranged Drop off service is still available upon request If you require supply of parts only, please contact our reception via phone or email. 10.01.2022 To our valued CMT customers & community, Amidst growing concerns about COVID-19 we want to keep you all updated on the additional steps that we are undertaking to look after the health and safety of our staff and customers. Please be assured that we have doubled down on our normal high standards when it comes to hygiene. Our staff are diligent in washing and sanitising their hands and equipment between appointments, before and after breaks etc. Hard surfaces are being disinfe...cted on a regular basis and we are following all updates from the Australian Government in relation to preventative measures that we need to put into place. We have remined our staff the importance of monitoring their own health and if they feel unwell or are showing signs of illness, they are to advise management as soon as possible. For the safety and health of our staff, we are also asking our customers & visitors to practice good general hygiene and if feeling unwell, to reschedule your visit to our workshop. We have placed hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes at the entry to our office and encourage all customer & visitors to utilise the facility. Vehicles door handles, steering wheels, gear sticks and keys will be wiped over with disinfectant wipes and all staff are wearing gloves in vehicles to reduce the spread of germs. We will continue to monitor the Governments health and workplace advice that is being distributed, but it is business as usual in our Administration & Service departments.
