25.01.2022 Brisbane Open House has, like so many great organisations, been thrust into unfamiliar territory in the COVID-19 world. Yet, the current limitations have borne Brisbane Open, a new program offering year-round cultural experiences and tours, and reigniting Brisbane's local tourism industry. Brisbane Open House continues to cater for the architecture and design buffs craving discussions about the future of design with a fully virtual program for 2020, featuring a series of tal...ks on emerging topics with leaders in the space. To kick off the digital program, BOH is hosting a future-focused debate about the place of individualism in design tonight at 7pm. "Does good design naturally address its place in the landscape, and its community? How does individualism impact the worldview, streetscape, or city plan for the many?" Hosted by the ABC's Craig Zonca, this will be a fascinating discussion among leading voices in architecture and design, all in support of Brisbane Open House. Tickets are $25 and will go directly to supporting the free Brisbane Open House weekend. Grab tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/open-house-great-debate-fun

16.01.2022 Quality Foods and Beverages, once servicing hundreds of businesses across the hospitality, education and tourism sectors, experienced a 70% downturn in business almost overnight when pandemic restrictions heightened here in Queensland. In an effort to save the business, QFB @ Home was launched: a bulk, next-day grocery delivery service bringing in-demand items to the doorsteps of local communities. KDPR was engaged to build momentum around the launch of QFB @ Home, raise th...e profile of the service and leverage the brand into conversations. In our initial engagement we achieved saturation media coverage across digital, print, TV, and social, and have taken great pleasure in sharing this local story of business ingenuity and community spirit. Reach out to us at [email protected] if we can help your business shine.

16.01.2022 It's International Women's Day this Sunday, but KDPR is always advocating for a more gender equal boardroom, a gender equal government, gender equal media coverage, gender equal workplaces, gender equal sports coverage, and more gender equality in all industries. We're proud to be supporting this year’s #EachforEqual #IWD2020 theme

15.01.2022 Another dive into the archives for KDPR’s 17th Anniversary! KDPR’s Director Kristin Devitt conceived what is now ‘Artist in Residence’, an annual partnership between Brisbane Airport and an incredible artist or artist collective. @robertbrownhallartist was Brisbane Airport’s first Artist in Residence in 2015-2016. This program transforms the transient spaces of the airport terminals to inspire travellers. ... It seems a long time since any of us were in the international airport about to embark on an adventure...but we are sure looking forward to seeing travel resume once again

15.01.2022 KDPR acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we stand today, the Turrbal people, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. 11.01.2022 Did you know KDPR is celebrating our 17th birthday this year?! We’ve been reflecting on some of the amazing work we’ve done with our fantastic clients over the years. Kids Helpline engaged KDPR to assist in raising its national profile and increase engagement with young people and their families. The 10 year partnership between KDPR and KHL saw steady, proactive media coverage across leading publications and some fantastic events with the lovely Miranda Kerr ... We think back so fondly on this engagement and were thrilled to play a part in helping KHL continue their purpose!

Using a variation of launch events, media famils, and interviews, we achieved saturated media coverage across prin...t, TV, and radio. 10.01.2022 So many local businesses have been greatly impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak and associated health restrictions. We have seen many hospitality venues pivot their normal offerings in an effort to adapt to social distancing guidelines. If you're staying at home for the time being to restrict your movements, do what you can to support industries that are doing it tough! Great to see The Sound Garden expanding their dining options to cater to those eating in. They and so many other restaurants and bars need our business to continue thriving and making our city so great.
