01.01.2022 Today KDCCI & EPIC Karratha Jobs & Skills Centre held the first of many program initiatives to connect Aboriginal school leavers with employers, through the Working Together Program. The information Session, held at the Ngurin Cultural Centre in Roebourne, allowed for Aboriginal school leavers to connect with employers and vice-versa. This Information Session encouraged the students to walk around to each employer to have a yarn and learn about potential roles they may be int...erested in. The businesses involved in this event included Karratha Earthmoving & Sand Supplies, Naanda Australia, Ngarliyarndu Bindirri Aboriginal Corporation (NBAC), Brida, Red Dirt Driving Academy, and Yara Pilbara. Keep a look out for our next event, we'd love to see more businesses involved in the new year!
