24.01.2022 Just wanted to do a massive shout out to my sponsors of 2020. Kaz's Flags & Tail Bags for our training flags. Without you and your amazing flags my horses wouldn’t be as established in their groundwork as they are. This groundwork shows through in their ability to cope in the competition atmosphere. Plum Tack without you I would literally have nothing to wear! Jill has provided me with clothes throughout my weighloss journey making sure I am always looking the part wether I ...am out coaching or competing. Nambour Feed & Horse Gear you keep my team fed and looking amazing! With great quality feed my horses are looking great and feeling even better! Bring on the 2021 season I say! And of course a massive shout out to all my amazing clients and supporters of 2020. I am constantly surrounded by amazing and inspiring people. I thoroughly enjoy every rider I teach and every horse I massage! I look forward to working with all of you in 2021 and helping you and your horses achieve your goals.

21.01.2022 Wes had his first jump back today since his injury. I don’t think the lump on his leg is affecting his hind limb action much he was feeling a tad fresh.. just over a week to go till the trip down south!!!

19.01.2022 I love my plum tacks!! I can vouch that they are comfy in any size

18.01.2022 Look at these massage faces!! The boys always love their massages, thanks Kyrie. The Equine team give so much to others and it is important that we ensure they... are well and that their bodies and minds are also cared for. Massage is a wonderful way to care for our minds and bodies, even for animals. Who else enjoys a massage? See more

17.01.2022 2 weeks till the big trip to Aus Champs!! Trying to convince Wes that he is no longer a mud monster and it is time to be the respectable show jumper that he was... bred to be! He still has a lump from his injury but he’s sound and in work. He has his first jump at home tomorrow since being brought back in from his injury vacation. I’m so hoping everything falls into place and we make it to Victoria! Bringing a horse back in from injury is always a balancing act and then with all the uncertainties surrounding covid who knows what may happen in 2 weeks! But the count down has officially started and the planning is done exciting times ahead! Watch this space for our journey to Aus Champs in Boneo! See more

16.01.2022 Upcoming jumping lessons available. Send me a message if you would like to join in?

16.01.2022 Instead of questioning your trainer why your kid is not excelling as quickly as others in their riding, maybe look at how much your kid practices. If you’re onl...y willing to commit to two lessons a month for example, that’s 2 hours per every 30 days on average. 2 hours out of 720 hours a month. Now let’s look at a year. 24 hours total. On average your kid then practices 1 day out of 365 days per year... let that sink in. Our sport is much harder than most and takes a lot of practice and skill, but for some reason people do not look at it this way. For example when I ran track, we practiced minimum 5 days a week for 2 hours a day. I put the sweat and time in to improve. Chorus - practice daily. Cheerleading - daily. Football - daily. Now, I also understand our sport is expensive. However, I find it imperative that as a parent you look at these numbers... and before you come complaining my kid isn’t improving fast enough, truly look at how much she practices. I am good at what I do, but I can’t work miracles. I constantly get parents comparing their kid to student X. However, student X is out at the barn working for extra ride time on anything I will give them and always ready to put in the work. As trainers we always have horses that need to be hacked. But I want to jump, I hear so often and the biggest thing is that these riders don’t realize jumping starts with flat work. Come work in exchange for ride time. Drop your stirrups and practice what we do in our lessons. Make yourself stronger and watch how much quicker you excel. All jumping is is flat work with sticks in the way. I was a barn rat growing up. I worked my butt off just to get on any horse my trainer would let me. The bratty pony needs a schooling? Done. The wild TB needs a hack? Done. The true and seasoned lesson horse needs a light hack! Perfect! I can work on me. We need to truly change these mindsets in our industry. Let’s be honest with your expectations. 24 hours - 1 day - out of 365 days. Let that sink in. Now let’s just add once a week lessons. 4 hours a month - 48 hours a year - 2 days out of 365.. PFA

09.01.2022 Just a tad excited about my new massage gun!!! I even tried it on myself and think it may be coming home every night after a hard days work! It feels so good!

06.01.2022 Well the horses are officially back in work! Holidays are over and it’s back to coaching and massaging for me. I’m definitely looking forward to the upcoming competition season with Eddie and Katie. So many exciting things happening this year and so many things to look forward too!

04.01.2022 A bit late but here’s photos of Katie and Eddie at our last comp of the year a few weeks back. I was so happy with how they both finished the season off. They are now on break for a few weeks. I’m going to enjoy Christmas and then I’ll be heading to Tasmania for a week to catch up with family. Will be back on board and working again on the 6yh of January.

03.01.2022 Unfortunately injured horses and injured me meant no jumping comps for me this weekend but I still managed to get in a good weekend of teaching at mooloolah pony club. Well done to the committee for a busy but very well run day. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Plum Tack, Mac and Mall Trading, Nambour Feed & Horse Gear thank you for your ongoing support. It was so good to see riders out and about wearing and using your products this weekend.

01.01.2022 Well its official, Alfie has been sold and is going to an amazing new home with Alana. Many a tear has been shed over the decision but I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. He has taught me so much as a rider over the years bringing home many ribbons in both dressage and jumping. He then went on to teach Mia the ropes and build her as a rider. Now it’s Alana’s turn to build confidence and learn from this incredible horse. I think there’s great things to come with this team! I know he is going to the perfect home, enjoy the ride Alana!

21.12.2021 And we are back up and running! Welcome 2022 with starting the year with a incredible clinic. It was only a short break over Christmas but I definitely missed ...seeing everyone. It was an extremely fun day and everyone rode super. I have two more clinics before I hopefully head off for Aus champs in Victoria for a few weeks. Sunday 16th and Saturday 22nd. If you would like to attend send me through a message ASAP as they are filling quickly.

10.12.2021 2021.. I started the year in a relationship, I ended it single, I gained amazing friends, I lost some, I gained new clients, I lost some, I bought a new horse, I retired 2, I stood, I fell, I stood back up.. I gained self respect and lost self doubt, I found a new me and in the process started forgiving the old me. For so many years I hated the end of the year.. it meant I had to switch into yet another year of fighting past trauma, surviving, coping, a fake smile this year ...I look forward to the new year with a true smile. New goals, new business opportunities, new achievements to strive for. 2021 has been filled with so many amazing adventures, love, laughter, tears and a whirl wind of growth. I have so many people to thank for their support and belief in me. I’ve said it before and I say it again, I am so blessed to be surrounded and supported by so many amazing inspiring people. Here’s to another year of growing, developing, building, living each day to its fullest with laughter, love and friendships. If someone ever tells you a leopard can’t change it’s spots stand tall and turn those spots in freaking rainbows. To those struggling at the thought of another year, hold your chin high because change can and does happen. Believe in yourself, love yourself and keep faith. It’s a day early but Happy new year everyone. Live, laugh, love into 2022!!! See more

If anyone wants to join in with this great group of riders in the new year send me a message and I’ll add you to the group chat. Clinics starting up again 8 January!!!

22.10.2021 Another great day of clinics today! We ended up at the indoor to save us from the weather. Well done everyone. I set up a challenge and you all rose to the occasion. Very proud!
