22.01.2022 Another dive into the archives for KDPR’s 17th Anniversary! KDPR’s Director Kristin Devitt conceived what is now ‘Artist in Residence’, an annual partnership between Brisbane Airport and an incredible artist or artist collective. @robertbrownhallartist was Brisbane Airport’s first Artist in Residence in 2015-2016. This program transforms the transient spaces of the airport terminals to inspire travellers. ... It seems a long time since any of us were in the international airport about to embark on an adventure...but we are sure looking forward to seeing travel resume once again
19.01.2022 Brisbane Open House has, like so many great organisations, been thrust into unfamiliar territory in the COVID-19 world. Yet, the current limitations have borne Brisbane Open, a new program offering year-round cultural experiences and tours, and reigniting Brisbane's local tourism industry. Brisbane Open House continues to cater for the architecture and design buffs craving discussions about the future of design with a fully virtual program for 2020, featuring a series of tal...ks on emerging topics with leaders in the space. To kick off the digital program, BOH is hosting a future-focused debate about the place of individualism in design tonight at 7pm. "Does good design naturally address its place in the landscape, and its community? How does individualism impact the worldview, streetscape, or city plan for the many?" Hosted by the ABC's Craig Zonca, this will be a fascinating discussion among leading voices in architecture and design, all in support of Brisbane Open House. Tickets are $25 and will go directly to supporting the free Brisbane Open House weekend. Grab tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/open-house-great-debate-fun

08.01.2022 We had a very special project in the works for this week - and lockdown strikes once again! We always knew this was a possibility, and made sure to have our plan B ready to go. It’s become second nature to work in this kind of environment, and we have very easily been able to pivot and postpone Hope you are all staying safe and making the most out of the lockdown! Fingers crossed we’ll be out in fresh air for Easter
08.01.2022 OUT-OF-THE-BOX PR: Connecting with your desired audience isn’t always about media coverage. Traditional PR is one way to reach your audience, but how can you meaningfully connect and engage with the right people in ways that make them stop and listen? Innovative activations, exploring new platforms, branding, and more are creative ways to create relationships with your audience - and successful communications campaigns go beyond runs in the media.
