24.01.2022 Are you excited about the upcoming drama starring Lee Min Ho? The King: Eternal Monarch starts on Netflix from April 17 and momentum is building. Indeed Soompi has details on newly released stills of Kim Go Eun and Kim Kyung Nam:... "In the latest stills, Jung Tae Eul and Kang Shin Jae are facing each other in taekwondo uniforms. Jung Tae Eul shows off her charisma as a taekwondo master with a confident, determined look, while Kang Shin Jae provokes her with clever psychological warfare. However, Jung Tae Eul is quick to put him back in his place, and she smirks in victory while Kang Shin Jae, who suffered a humiliating defeat, looks at her in shock." So it looks like there is a good cast around Lee Min Ho. And Soompi includes a quote from production company Hwa and Dam Pictures about the actors: Kim Go Eun and Kim Kyung Nam are straight-forward actors who are not afraid of looking disheveled while acting. 16.01.2022 We just finished watching the Korean drama The Producers. It's a fun drama and a bit different to most KDramas out there. The main stars are Cha Tae Hyun, Gong Hyo Jin, Kim Soo Hyun (featured picture) and IU.... It took about two episodes to get into, but after we got used to the style of the drama, it became very engaging. One of the most interesting things about the list was that we found that women generally travel backwards in time and men (with the exception of one) tend to travel forward in time.... 12.01.2022 If you are looking for a light and quirky Korean drama, then Meow The Secret Boy might be just what you need. It's currently on Viki and according to Soompi, the drama: ... tells the story of Hong Jo (Kim Myung Soo), a cat that can transform into a human, and Kim Sol Ah (Shin Ye Eun), the puppy-like person who takes care of him. Hong Jo learns that his ability to turn into a human is triggered by a single person, Kim Sol Ah, so he begins to form even more affection for her a...s time goes by due to their special connection." The article also includes some stills from the drama with Hong Jo enjoying a cup of milk (as many cats would if they were in a human form.) Soompi also talk about the set up and directing for the scene in detail including: "Kim Myung Soo filmed the scene in February at a set in Paju, and he made sure to go over the scene meticulously with the director before filming started. They discussed the sensations Hong Jo would feel touching a cup and drinking milk as a human and not a cat. He was able to pull off the scene perfectly as Hong Jo until the cameras stopped rolling." 11.01.2022 Good news for Gong Yoo fans - he MIGHT be set to return to the small screen. According to our friends at KDrama Pal, he is currently in negotiations to star in a new Netflix sci thriller with Bae Doona - who was most recently seen in Kingdom and Persona. KDrama Pal explains that the drama entitled The Sea Of Silence is:... "... a sci-fi thriller that is set in a dystopian future where people suffer from food and water shortages as a result of desertification." If Gong Yoo decides to take part in the drama KDrama Pal notes he: "... will be taking on the role of Yoon-jae, a charismatic soldier and exceptional member of the Space and Aeronautics Administration. He is tasked with leading a team that sets out on a space mission to retrieve unknown samples from an abandoned research facility on the moon."
