22.01.2022 A blast from the past - Kripples Whites v Blacks - from the last 1990's to early 2000's that was it for the Kripples - 2 teams, that had evolved from the initial single team in our inaugural year, 1995. This time the Whites took the points 2-1 - both goals from new recruit Tim Edwards, with Ian Macey pulling one back for the Blacks. As Richard Stanley commented "Great club rivalry Black V Whites when I think back 20 years when we were just able to make 2 teams. At the end of the year we played against each other, with the losers having to serve sea food to the Winners at club house end of year Sea food dinner. Good times and good for the building of the Over 35s division of the club Cheers Richard"

18.01.2022 SINGING THE BLUES 35CN- Blues 3- Budgewoi 2 (Warren, Barry, Matt goals) This was a great game and a pleasure to be in. It started with us conceding as usual but then Warren's hit and hope into a crowded area somehow went through the legs of the guy on the line and we were level. Karl (our actual goalkeeper) commanded in the box during a great first half but still needed a goaline clearance from Robbie to keep us level. Our second came from another inspired substitution from Mabey. On came barry after a much needed breather and within a few seconds he hit a Beauty into the top corner. After they equalised Matt got us back in front and then followed a real tussle to hang on to the points, thanks to two great saves from our other real goalkeeper ackers. Well it beats leaning on the post eating hot chips during the game.

13.01.2022 RED MIST 35A Kripples Reds - 3 (Nath 2, DBoy 1) Ourimbah (State Grub Champions) - 0 Reds are not normally reliable with the old match reports however this week’s result surely warrants one. They were facing Ourimbah, the reigning State Cup Champions who put them away 5-1 last time they met. This time Ourimbah had to travel to the Den EDSACC which was heaving with a ground record crowd (Final numbers yet to be published however I’m predicting it to be in the thousands)....Continue reading

08.01.2022 IN THE PINK 35B- Pinks 2 Berkeley Vale 3 goals Brendo, Adam (pen) We came up against the undefeated ladder leaders in Berkeley Vale, if they just checked the ladder they may have wrongly assumed an easy match but as you know, the Pinks are hitting some form! We dominated the first 20min but just could not get a goal, this proved costly as a cross come shot sailed over our keepers head and into top corner, 1-0 BV. We were down 3-0 at half time but we knew that it was by no me...ans a fair reflection of the game and how it was playing out. We were pushing them and they knew it. They spent large parts of the first half kicking and elbowing us off the ball, Brownie rallied the team at half time with a war cry calling for everyone to step up, show them we are black and to start kicking back! We fought hard, some submitted to injuries, most of which were inflicted by their little angry man in the middle Our keeper continued where Brown left off demanding we ‘’ kick the fu%k out that little religious fu%ker’ (god bless him, may he pay for his sins he will next game) Brendo finished off a nice ball into the area from Jezza, Glove saved a penalty (I’m sure you’ve all heard by now) and Adam took a PEN nicely to bring us back to 3-2. If we had another 10 x min we were looking likely to bring home 3 x points and to be fair for all the time the ball was lost in the bushes, there should have been an extra 15 min added on! I think we all put in a solid effort and all though it was a loss, we can take confidence out of that one boys. See more

02.01.2022 IN THE PINK 35B- Pinks 4 Avoca Grubs 1 (goals- Brendo x 3, Browny x 1) We played the first 20min with 9 x men Vs a full strength Avoca and were down 1-0, we had 10 men for last 20 min of first half and went into the break 2-1 up, they were rattled! Jez showed up with about 15 minutes of the first half remaining thought but best to leave us playing short a little longer and was fully kitted up just in time for the second half . We played some great football against the odds ...with the mids working hard up and down the park and the backs holding strong in the second half with Avoca pushing hard for an equaliser... they weren’t going to get it, Brendo was on fire with a screamer into the top left corner to put us 3-1 up and with about ten to go Jez put in a handy cross for Brendo to head home and finish with a hatty, this goal mostly went unnoticed though as half the team were back on half way stopping the Buck from belting the #1 Avoca Grub.
