13.01.2022 And she’s finally up!! It has long been a dream of mine to establish a little free library and with the help of family, friends and some strangers I’ve finally done it! I busied myself at the start of lockdown making and selling face masks at Old Faithfulls. Wanting to put it back into the community I employed the services of the local men’s shed and a lovely man named Paul and had him construct my library! With a lick of paint and some generous donations it’s complete. Thank...s to Old Faithfulls Brew Bar, Nadine Roach, the Wangaratta Mens Shed and my family it is now yours to enjoy. Planted firmly on the cnr of Appin and Langlands st it sits awaiting visiting book lovers. It will be locked at nighttime as my family are worried it may fall prey to vandalism but I’m optimistic that it will be well received and left alone by those not interested. Please enjoy and get into reading, as the sign says It gives us a place to go when we have to stay where we are much love xx See more
