25.01.2022 Hi Islanders, Unfortunately we are aware of the lockdown that was announced on Friday the 8th January from 6pm till Monday 11th January 6pm. Our operating hours for the weekend and Monday are 11am - 8pm, serving as takeaway only and deliveries only. Deliveries start after 4pm, we would also appreciate prepayments for orders to limit any contact between our staff and our customers, as both are our highest priority. ... 23.01.2022 Hi Islanders! Unfortunately we have a reported case of Covid-19 on the island. We are going to do our part and take precautionary steps to alleviate any potential widespread that could occur. This will result in our tables and chairs being packed up and only servicing as a takeaway /delivery. We would prefer delivery services during night trades to further everyone's safety. 22.01.2022 Good Evening Islanders!! Please read through for full information! We are excited to finally announce the release of our online ordering system. Now available to use!!! We will still take phone calls for orders, but essentially will transition to online ordering only! Few things to run through before using our system.... 1. Pickups are available from 12:00pm to 7:45pm, with 30 minute lead times (available up to 30 minutes after order is placed) and is available for everyone from the SMBI and surrounding areas to use!! 2. Deliveries start from 4:45pm to 7:45pm, with 30 minute to 90 minute windows. Please be mindful when placing delivery orders, we only service RUSSELL ISLAND RESIDENTS/ADDRESSES, and the refund processes are a bit more complex, as we pay fees per transaction to provide this service to you! 3. Register your phone number via the opt in button through the cart checkout page to receive updates about your order! 4. As we do not incorporate a digital stock list in our premises because of inaccuracies due to generosity (because we like to treat our customers every now and again with items on us ). So if we do not have a certain item in store at the time of your order, we will either contact you via the information you will have provided or may be eligible for a refund of those items only! 22.01.2022 Hi guys! Just informing everyone that we are introducing a new order policy for deliveries. Only $15 orders are the new minimum plus delivery fee. As we have been receiving too many low order amounts and it is causing our deliveries to become inefficient. We believe its not fair for people that place big orders and having to wait too long. Important Notice; Unfortunately due to equipment servicing requirements and incorrect supply from our equipment wholesaler, we are unable to trade tomorrow, 3rd September 2020. We apologise for any inconveniences this may cause. For any deliveries that are placed online prior to us temporarily switching our online system off, we will have to refund your monies. Again, we apologise for this unforeseen circumstance we are faced with. 07.01.2022 Hi Islanders! LIKE & SHARE THE FOLLOWING! Hope you are all well! We have been really busy and we wanted to thank everyone for their patience and support! Sorry this has taken longer than expected ... We are excited to announce that we have completed our test runs for the online ordering system and everything has seemed to process smoothly. At the current time we will hold off on the release of the online ordering till we optimize it completely and try to make it as easy and c...onvenient for you all! What does online ordering mean for you? 1. No phone wait times - as you all know, the demand for deliveries and pickups, via phone orders, are crazy high at the moment. With our new online ordering system, there is no wait time. Simply visit our site, order food items and choose between pick up and delivery orders! Opt in with your phone number and email address to see receive status updates on your order!! 2. Essentially, lower wait times as we are trying to minimize the incoming phone volume, as we have seen that's where most of our time is spent.. and one of the biggest reasons as to why we cannot attend to all orders at our maximum capacity! 3. Pickups are available every day from 12:00pm to 7:45pm. Our deliveries are available from 4:30pm - 7:45pm. We have also allocated limited orders every 15 minute time-frame, so that we can realistically fulfill everyone's orders! So if you cannot place an order, simply wait till the next order window opens! Please Note : All pickup orders are welcome for all our SMBI customers, HOWEVER delivery orders are strictly exclusive to Russell Island residents. If you process an order and do not reside on Russell Island, you may not be able to receive a refund!! So please be careful and thoughtful when you are ordering. We pay a fee every transaction that is processed and we are not able to get refunded after orders are processed, that is the reason we have a no refund policy for orders that do not fit in to our online order refund criteria. 03.01.2022 Hi Islanders Kebab Express is back to normal trading hours from 10am-8pm Monday to Saturday & 11am-8pm Sunday. Additional notes -... Please be patient and weary of high volume calls during afternoon/evening trade hours. Have your orders ready prior to phoning us and card details on hand if you are paying over the phone, along with correct details (address, phone number), so that we can attend to the next person waiting. We have also placed an online ordering system for basic items to alleviate mistakes on orders due to bad reception, and to mitigate high call volumes. We will not tolerate abusive behaviour and simply will reject orders if we are faced with that situation, as it isn't fair for our staff/business. Thank you for understanding The Kebab Express Team
