Starter motor does not fit, it was close perhaps an aftermarket smaller bodied starter might fit. Failing that a LH starter kit or move the steering rack over 10mm or so. A few gearbox tabs have been cut off my gearbox from a previous conversion, gearbox is tight in the tunnel in a few small places but good clearance everywhere else. 24.01.2022 BEAMS 3sge into KE70 and AE71 version 2 This kit is the second version available, this kit sits the engine completely upright and as far back as possible. Standard inlet manifold does not fit with this version (for RHD cars), suited for going quads or aftermarket inlet manifold. LHD cars should not have this problem. ... A W58 gearbox was used in this conversion, a J160 6 speed will require tunnel mods due to how far back the engine sits and the size of the J160 bellhousing. If using a 2sc bellhousing for the w58 you will need to massage the firewall in 1 small spot for the starter motor bulge. You will need a sq engineering slim rear water/oil outlet. You will need to do a small mod to the sump for the drivers side rack mount. Kit uses 10mm crossmember spacers. You could possibly get away with 5mm or even no spacers if you did some tunnel bashing for the bellhousing (w58) and or loose the under bonnet bracing. Advantages over version 1 is - Its totally upright Further back for better weight distribution A factory ae86 swaybar will clear or you can space down a standard ke70 swaybar No heavy sump web grinding A reduction in crossmember spacers from 25mm to 10mm. 23.01.2022 Commodore V6 into MX73 Cressida Conversion was done with a T5 gearbox, getrag was attempted but the tunnel was not tall enough. The T5 can be converted to hydraulic easy enough The rear of the sump is very close to crossmember lip, there wasnt much room up front for swaybar clearance so I opted to keep it closer to the crossmember. Bonnet clearance isnt much either, an option is I can include a pair of 3mm rubber engine mount spacers to raise the motor up enough to give ju...st enough clearance for the sump but that will bring the intake closer to the bonnet. Alternatively you can do a small easy modification to the back of the sump bowl or the crossmember Other than that it fits well and looks at home, this engine + a turbo would equal some cheap thrills and will surely upset some purists Uses factory MX73 engine rubber mounts Available as engine mounts only $210 or with a gearbox crossmember to suit T5 $320 Order through this page via Private message or visit KEconversions.com

20.01.2022 3RZ into KE70 kits Fitting requirements: She's a big capacity, tall motor, but it still fits easy enough. The kit comes with 20mm crossmember spacers but if you opt for a custom inlet manifold or even relocate the throttle body you could reduce the crossmember space to about 10mm or even less. If you wish to run no spacers at all, then a bonnet hump or even getting rid of the under bracing will do fine. This conversion has been done with a custom front sump, as most 3RZ's com...e rear sump'd from hilux's, there are front sumps from a prado but i dont see them pop up too often. There is no guarantee that the front sump from the prado will fit as i didnt have one to try it but it should be easier to modify to make it fit than the rear sump if it does not fit. 20.01.2022 LS1 into MX83 Cressida This kit was designed in a rhd car You have to either replace the tunnel for the t56 or some people have got away with some spirited tunnel bashing, there are other kits on the market that allow you avoid this but the engine is so far forward you have very little room for a radiator and you may need to do subframe/sump modification and whatever other problems it creates. Ive chosen a more optimal position where the sump (front sump) sits perfectly in ...between the swaybar and crossmember. Uses 15mm crossmember spacers, for the small amount of spacing you can avoid 2 jobs. You dont need to do any sump mods and I was able to use the factory starter motor - starter only just fits so if you want more than a couple of mm clearance you can do some grinding or ive heard the L98 starter has a smaller body. Gearbox rubber has been flipped (turned 180 degrees) for the gearbox crossmember. 20.01.2022 SR20 into KE30 KE55 conversion kit A tight fit, around 10mm clearance off the sway bar and possibly less off the firewall, bonnet clearance minimal but it is a big engine for a small engine bay. Some light massaging of the firewall where the back of the cylinder head is may be required pending what model, some have a twin bulge on the firewall that needs flattening and others dont. This conversion was done in a KE30 MANUAL car, KE55 automatic factory floorpan has a differen...t bolt pattern and requires a different gearbox crossmember. This conversion you will have to run the SR/RB box combo to gain 50mm shifter clearance towards the original shifter hole as the standard SR20 gearbox shifter comes out just before the center rail. 20.01.2022 CA18 into KE30 KE55 conversion kit Excellent fitment with plenty of clearance everywhere. Possibly the best fitting engine into any of the KE30 series I have done so far. Only issue is where the heater outlet comes through the firewall is too close. Option is to either not run a heater, or braze some 90 degree fittings onto the outlets. Highly reccomended you use the CA/RB gearbox combo as you gain 50mm more closer to the original shifter hole. You will need to make a new shi...fter hole. 16.01.2022 1JZ/2JZ into AE86 kits Sick of that tinny buzz box sound of your 4age? well look no further this is the kit for you! Best of all this conversion is legal! (best to confirm with your engineer first though) Surprisingly it fits a bit better than the KE70 (can get it further back with more room up front). The AE86 has a shorter engine bay height wise but a little longer, so there will be 25mm crossmember spacers supplied in the kit. ... I have done this conversion using a 1JZ and W58. If you plan on using a 2JZ remember that it is 25mm taller so you will need to double the crossmember spacers or do some bonnet modification. If using an r154 there will be a small amount of tunnel bashing for the body of the gearbox in 1 spot aswell as for the bellhousing. A small amount bashing for the back of the head for firewall clearance. The metal water pipe that runs around the back of the head will have to be modified or relocated, suggest a custom one running underneath the engine to the other side. These kits work for LHD cars, ive sold more kits to the U.S guys than locally in AUS. 12.01.2022 3RZ into KE30 Sump modification required to either factory front or rear sump or a custom sump from scratch. Bonnet closes but only just, the metal hoses on the throttle body are just about touching and are the only issue, motor and plenum have plenty of clearance. Options are modify throttle body, relocate throttle body or custom plenum.... A hilux style shifter housing almost has the shifter coming out the original shifter hole Other than that a nice fit, very torquey motor capable of big numbers for a 4 cyl No tunnel or firewall mods necessary, if using an R series box the tunnel may need a small amount of bashing in a couple of spots. You will need to run a remote clutch master reservoir or relocate the vacuum port on the standard inlet manifold. Kit uses 25mm crossmember spacers. 10.01.2022 3RZFE into MX73 Cressida Some of you might be wondering why? Well for me I always like doing something different, the 3rz is only 100cc less than the factory 6M engine, the most common swap I see in a mx73 is a 1jz and so the 3rz is 200cc larger. Most know the 3rz is capable of pushing 1000hp if built and tuned right and it will be cheaper on rego to!... So I made 2 versions to choose from Version 1 sits the engine more forward, this was done so the factory oil filter assembly can be used, a prado 3rz front sump can be used with basic mods done to the pan and pick up, factory manifold clears - closest point is all the vacuum lines on the throttle body. Version 1 uses the factory engine rubber mounts. Version 2 is alot further back, about as far back as you can go. You will need to use a oil filter relocation kit and the sump would have to be more of a custom job. Starting with a prado sump would still save you some work. This kit uses cortina rubber mounts with extended plates. Alternator is close to the factory crossmember engine mount so its suggested to run a -10 belt to adjust it closer to the engine. 10.01.2022 CA18 into KE20 conversion kit This engine is a tight fit! For those of you who know about the common problems when doing this conversion is the steering being very tight fit. On full lock to the right the steering arm is only milimeters off the bellhousing.... The back of the cylinder head is only about 5mm of the the firewall. When I say the firewall I'm talking about the bulge on the firewall that is there for the heater fan on the other side. If you don't mind ditching the fan in the cabin, or moving it to be able to push/bash the bulge in on the firewall, you could easily slot the hole's on the engine mounts and gearbox crossmember to gain another 10mm of clearance on both the steering and firewall. You can not run the standard sway bar You can not use the standard gearbox stays, you could modify them and they may work but the steering fouls on them. Or if you did something about the firewall bulge and moved the motor back you may get away with using the standard gearbox stays The gearbox crossmember has been designed to allow for an exhaust to be made closer to the floorpan, giving you better ground clearance for lowred cars. I get alot of requests for SR20 into KE20, but what people don't realize is the amount of work involved over an SR20 as opposed to a CA18. I'm not even sure an SR20 turbo will be legal but you can engineer a CA18 turbo. In a tiny little KE20, you wont be missing those extra 200cc's, but if you do you can always stoke out your CA18. Unlike the SR20, the CA18 goes in (only just) WITHOUT firewall or tunnel cutting/replacing. Full kit : Block mounts Rubber mounts Gearbox crossmember Bolt kit $350

09.01.2022 4AGE into KE20 conversion kit For a little engine its still tight in the front and back, but the best fitting engine. Remember the KE20 weighs next to nothing so it doesnt need much to push it around. Sway only just clears the sump. If you plan on running a 4AGE 20v, you will need a distributor block off cap and run aftermarket coil/engine management. You need to make a new shifter hole. ... Apart from fabricating a new tunnel and firewall it is a good fit with only a small corner of the crossmember mount to be cut. Block mounts only, no gearbox crossmember's available for this swap. 07.01.2022 1UZFE into RA23/RA28 with AE71/AE86 crossmember Edited 15/9/18 - im only doing a limited number of these kits until my plates run out, as such im only doing this kit with the crossmember provided by the customer which needs to be sent to my workshop. Crossmember must be straight/no damage and lca holes are not notched/flogged out. Finally available, would make your classic celica or mini mustang sound amazing (and go pretty damn hard aswell)... Using a modified AE71/AE86 crossmember which has been shortened, dropped, boxed and sleeved to keep any engineer happy. Block mounts are designed to use the factory AE86 rubber mounts (not included in the kit) Gearbox crossmember's to suit w58/r154 or a340 auto. If using auto suggest using a 1jz auto gearbox as I doubt the tri flange/rubber donut will fit in the tunnel without mods Bonnet closes, sump clears the rack, tunnel will need slight massage as its just about touching. AE86 swaybar clears Ra60 shifter housing should bring the shifter out the original shifter hole Converted crossmember is to suit RHD application. If using in LHD car you will need to swap the rack mounts left to right. 07.01.2022 So finally after 5 years of being off the road the KE conversions engine mount delivery vehicle is now back on the road ready for work duties. Its been a long road to get this where it is, very happy with the end result and id like to give a big massive thanks to Jordan Hall at KE conversions for doing such an awesome job. Tuned to 334hp @16psi and weighs in at 1098kg with a full tank and a fat bastard in the drivers seat. Certainly no rocketship as a comparison to some of the insane street cars on the road these days but a bit of a handfull and a hell of alot of fun to drive.

A few customers have brought it to my attention lately of how hard it is to find and expensive to obtain a AE71 or AE86 crossmember they usually send to me to modify for the rack and pinion conversion into RA23/RA28 celica. Back when it all started I took notice of how asking prices of AE71 crossmembers and mounting parts were going up, like most I thought the prices were ridic...ulous so I came up with the first original product from KE conversions - the 4age into KE70 mount kit and it saved people from spending more than they should and time on their conversion swapping parts. So here we go again to avoid paying $350 - $450+ for an AE71/AE86 crossmember I give you this option. You send me a KE70 crossmember and I will turn it into a AE71 crossmember for the low introductory price of $195

04.01.2022 Custom manual pedal box kit to suit MX83 Cressida As most of you are aware, MX83 Cressida never came out manual. There are alternative's but nothing to my knowledge is a direct bolt in. Commonly the MA70 pedal box is used but requires some modification to fit, is a bit of a pain to mod and is not always a neat fit. Usually a cut here, notching holes there and weld something over there. So I designed this to be as simple as possible, 100% bolt in, no cutting, drilling or weld...ing anything. The pedal box itself is 3mm mild steel plate and is tig welded. A 6mm clutch pedal and a ST185 celica clutch master cylinder included if you are running a W58 OR for an extra $30 I can include a land cruiser master cylinder with a 19mm bore if you are running an R154 or T56 Included : Pedal box Clutch pedal Clutch master cylinder Manual brake pedal Bolt kit Price is $250 If you send me your auto brake pedal you will receive a $25 discount. 03.01.2022 Re-post with a shout out to Sam from SQ engineering and his awesome upgrade parts for the 3SGE BEAMS engine Beams into AE86 The engine just fits behind the standard swaybar and there is minimal sump grinding required.... For RHD cars you will have to run a remote reservoir for the clutch master (one off a early KE30 or TA22 will do the job) or an NJ pagero clutch master may fit. LHD models will not have this problem. Because the engine is so far back to avoid heavy sump grinding and the use of the standard swaybar, the factory rear water outlet/external oil drain is too close to the firewall. SQ engineering does a really nice slim water/oil outlet direct replacement to solve this problem. SQ engineering also does a blacktop quad adapter, gearbox sealing plate, rear engine hook and possibly more. Very high quality parts and excellent customer service, Sam is highly recommended for 4age, beams and other parts. 01.01.2022 LS into KE70 & AE71 Only available for AE71 or KE70 with an AE71 crossmember. No firewall mods but say bye bye to all of your tunnel, some people have welded in commodore tunnels or make one from scratch. Note firewall is cut in pics but I just wanted to make sure it fit first go.... You will need an underdash clutch master (I will be looking into this at some stage) You need to relocate the last coil on drivers side for booster clearance (rhd cars) or replace the booster with an ep91 starlet booster I have used a left hand starter kit with this conversion Alternator is close and will need a small trim as will the tabs on the front of the sump for standard ke70 swaybar clearance (ae86 swaybar will have more clearance) Bonnet closes with 20mm crossmember spacers AE71 kit - $320 - uses standard AE71/ AE86 rubber mounts (not supplied) Block mounts 20mm crossmember spacers with longer high tensile bolts Gearbox crossmember to suit T56 Bolt kit

So I got some laser cut to make a nice simple clean easy way to fix the hunting idle problem on a 4age 16v. Simply unbolt and bolt on, no more hunting idle. $20
