Every part of the journey delivered opportunities for growth. Whether you’re pollinating, budding, blossoming or emerging from a chrysalis, the emphasis is on the journey. I travelled with this one for over a year, every single mark drawn from observing the true essence of Australian fauna and flora. It began with a protea seed pod (centre pattern), a gift by a wise old man who instructed - whenever you want to feel balanced, hold this seed pod to your heart, the patterns vibrate at a frequency that will return you back to the rhythms of nature. Homeland to homeland across Australia this drawing grew and transformed as did I. A man once bought the original from me, I told him my connection to this artwork and he sold it back to me ‘you’re not ready to sell this piece, it’s grounding you and helping you feel home wherever you are’. These native beauties can be seen anywhere between northern territory all the way down the east coast.
