22.01.2022 Following further easing of COVID 19 restrictions the club is operating as follows from Wednesday 7th October: Members and guests (max 2) only. New Members are welcome! Public Access is restricted until further notice but membership fees are extremely cheap so please give us a call to find out more.... For our members, the table rates are very competitive at $7.50 for snooker tables and $10 per hour for 8/9 ball tables. All entry to the room will require proximity key access and signing of a declaration to abide by a list of COVID 19 protocols when entering and during play. 22.01.2022 Update on our Fundraiser to save our club. We have hit the $1,000 mark, so thank you everyone for your kind donations. We still have a long way to go to reach our target though, and things seem to have slowed a bit in the last day or so. I am trying to ask everyone to invite friends and contacts to donate and share the page, so that we can get as many people in Australia and even the world to contribute. Especially if they have anything to do with Snooker, Cue Sports, or any ...sort of sports for that matter. No one would like to see their particular sporting club close down, especially one like our that has been going for 50 years. We just need to get this to as many people as possible. Our goal can be reached easier the more people that contribute, for example: 1500 contributors @$20 exceeds our target of$28,000. 3000contributors @ $10 each does the same thing and so forth.So thank-you all again. 20.01.2022 NEW OFFICE HOURS Starting from Monday 2nd November 2020, we will begin to operate regular Office Hours where a Board Member will be available in the Snooker Room. These will be Monday to Saturday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. During this time, new members can be signed up; we will be able to issue coins in exchange for EFTPOS, sell any stock such as cues/tips/chalk and fix any key-related issues. We are also available to receive any feedback from Members. Be sure to say hello!... Our Members will still enjoy access to the facility from 8:00 am - Midnight, seven days a week, via a secure fob key door system. NEW CONTACT NUMBER We also have a new contact number for the Snooker Club, 0478 281 802. You can either call or text, and it can be used to give feedback or ask any questions. If there is no answer, please leave a voicemail, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

19.01.2022 Still have spots available for Snooker and 9Ball/Pool in our sessions this week.Sessions cost $15 per person(no more to pay) lights ill be turned on. Sessions are for a 3 hour duration. Session times: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat & Sun 9.00am to 12.00Noon and Thur, Fri, Sat & Sun evening 7.00pm - 10.00pm. Please ring Peter Williams on: 0412 397 957 to book your session. we only have 8 Snooker spots and 4 Pool/9Ball spots available at each session, so please book early to avoid disappo...intment Also you need to be at venue at least 15 minutes prior to session starting to go through various procedures(our Covid Safe Plan) including Sanitization of all items you bring with you, including Wallet, Phone, Car Keys, Cue & Case, Water Bottle/Thermos. Also please be aware that for the time being, ther are no drinks(including Tea & Coffee) available at the club whatsover. You need to bring your own (NO ALCOHOL) with you, Also unfortunately during this restricted time, its members only, so no guests. This also means we are not allowed to have spectators at this time. Its players and Session Officials only allowed in the room during the session. For the time being, while we are restricted, all entry Fob Security Keys have been disabled, o if you try to come in , your key will not open the door. Due to this, our physical sign-in form can no longer be used. The QR Code at the entrance to the room must be used when you arrive. - You are no longer required to take your temperature when entering the room. - We are also required to sign into Club Chermside - Chermside Bowls Club via their COVID Visitor Declaration form, even if you have no intention to go outside of the room. Their QR Code is located next to ours at the entrance of the room.
