20.01.2022 Its quite the thing to have your portrait taken, especially when half your business is down the covid-induced gurgler, youre 3 months through a naturopathic detox and midway through setting some belated life altering boundaries and therapy altering behaviours. Theyre privileged problems of note, Im well aware. Our darling friend Mel ( of @_tilldeath_ ) recently took these frames of Steve and I as a part of her covid/iso series. At first glance I see puffy eyes and a somew...hat tired demeanour, but I adore these frames. Beneath the dressed up exterior is an honest depiction of how Steve and I see ourselves right now, sitting in our stuff, our relationship, with no veils of pretence. Im still learning things about this man after being together for a decade. The first year of marriage truly has been the most grounding and humbling one of the total 11 years. Loving him more each day and more importantly, myself. Forever grateful for these frames and the life stage they represent. See more
