23.01.2022 Getting real personal now! Today is day 1 of my period this month and oh my god, have I had the worst symptoms or what!! I had planned to do back to back training and Im so glad I stopped and listened to my body and helped it recover instead because if I was dealing with muscle recovery as well as this Id be one really grumpy woman!! (Well grumpier haha) Our bodies go through so much during this time that we just need to slow down and look after it. Replenish, refresh and rehydrate in this time. 20.01.2022 It’s official! No TV May!! I’ve unplugged and moved it into another room, put up a sheet (so the wall doesn’t look so bare) and replaced it with all the books I want to read. In doing this I’m hoping that I will rest better, sleep better and just feel better. Two days in and so far so good!! Yay! Haha #notv #relax #readbooks #crystals

16.01.2022 The flu sucks! I needed to move today. Chucked the heater on and the noise cancelling headphones (avoiding the screaming kids running around) and started with meditation, breathing exercises and yoga, and ended it with positive affirmations and a lot of water. Exactly what I needed #relaxation #care

Its so important to take time out for yourself and we just forget about it or gets the ill do it later which never comes haha. 14.01.2022 One of my favourite exercises to put in a group class! We don't have very high ceilings here so you can't really climb the rope, so I get them to do this instead to help build up those upper body muscles #nevermissafriday

13.01.2022 Start with something simple. I've had the last couple of weeks off from work and training due to the death of a family member and I've been struggling to get back into my training. So today I decided just to go for a walk, before I knew it I was running and then when I got home and did a little workout. Sometimes you just have to go simple to get to where you want to go.

13.01.2022 I’ve made the conscious effort to be more mindful this month after suffering severe exhaustion, the flu and mindless colds. I’ve put the tv away, started meditating and have started a gratitude journal. It’s been a massive change and I am feeling so much better for it, I’m resting better, sleeping better, less anxious and just have so much more energy. I’m looking forward to this next challenge from @1giantmind 30 days of meditating. Definitely give this App a go if you’re thinking of starting. One of the best #wellness #meditation #love

I didn’t really feel like working out but i thought I’d have a play and before you know it 45mins have gone by!! Overhead hold Lunges Overhead press Crunches, Toe raps and Russian twist (sorry about the awkward looks at the camera! ) We just need to get up and start, doesn’t matter if you don’t go as hard, at least you’ve done something today. Keep up the amazing work everyone
