18.01.2022 WENGER 2009: I see more a European league developing over time rather than one team going out of the country, The national leagues will survive but maybe in 10 years, you will have a European league. I’m not sure 100% that I’m right but I feel inside our game there are some voices behind the scenes coming up to do something about that, especially if the rules become too restrictive for these clubs. WENGER 2010: Personally, I believe only in sporting merit, So, if such a l...eague is created, it has to be by transfers up and down, although that is practically very difficult to resolve and we do not want to kill the national leagues. Teams would have to play in both the European league in midweek and the national league at the weekend. It means all these teams have two teams. The way we are going financially is that even the money that will be coming in from the Champions League will not be enough for some clubs because they spend too much money. The income is basically owned by Uefa and they distribute the money to the clubs. In 20years Wenger built the Emirates whilst playing @championsleague football every season on budget. The longevity and stability of the club just as important as the football. Now with no stadium debt or facilities to pay off. Arsenal have laid off staff due to Covid and taken a 120mill loan to ease through the pandemic. The decision for Arsenal to join the Super League is not the Arsenal I know. Money cannot buy class.

16.01.2022 Top5 Boots this season(currently available): With grassroots football starting this weekend in Aus. Decided to go through my top5 boot countdown to give you some choices moving into Rd1. No5: the @nikefootball Phantom Turf. The Phantom Turf aka hush puppies have been my boot of choice for 7aside in the off season and have now continued wearing them for 11aside. The white and fluro pink make you feel like you are wearing a sneaker and the REACT midsole makes you feel like you... have your favourite running shoes on. Super comfortable and your body thanks you after a game. Particularly in NSW where majority of pitches are Astro turf. Have no troubles holding my feet on the pitch in these(though good players can play in any conditions ) Only downside sometime hard to get underneath a ball proper when knocking 60M diag. Also check out ex pro Billy Celevski’s new product @bootlab101 to clean your boots before every match(never walk on a pitch with dirty boots, show respect to your boots and the game!)

We went old school for our opening game last week with the OG @adidasfootball Pred’s Accelerator Think Becks knocking 60M diags or Zizou immaculate touch midair. Adi have dropped a few colourways now on the Accelerator more so the OG colourways, but this edition matches the latest Predator Freak blue and solar yellow colour.... Nostalgia vibez wearing these opponents giving you nod of respect with these on the feet. Boot felt the same as they did back in the day and most importantly they had the ELASTIC for the flip tongue. A beautiful boot that reminds you of a time when the Galacticos @davidbeckham @zidane strolled around the Bernabeu. Pred Accelerator is a boot that suits a player with a wide foot as it is a broad silhouette. Also young players used to the extreme lightness of today’s boot will find this a boot with some extra weight.
