07.01.2022 At Keep It Natural we take great pride in the fact that our soaps are made to a simple 3 oil base recipe - soap doesn't have to be complicated to be amazing. Think of the great soaps of the world - true Castile soap is traditionally made with just olive oil, Aleppo soap is made with olive oil and up to 20% laurel oil - the more Laurel oil the more expensive it is. We spent months researching our recipe and then more months testing and fine tuning the variant recipes before we... were satisfied with our end products. We chose Olive oil - our main ingredient - contributes moisturising properties to soap. It also gives the bars a gentle and creamy lather, making it a great choice for dry or sensitive skin. Coconut oil - a super cleansing addition that produces lots of big bubbles Rice Bran oil - this oil is extracted from the hulls of brown rice, and is rich in Vitamin E and anti-oxidants, and gives the soap a lovely silky lather. All our soaps are scented only with essential oils - we do NOT use synthetic fragrance oil -which can contain artificial scents, dangerous chemicals, and many unknowns. That is why you won't find "strawberry" or "banana" scented soaps in our range.
