We specialise in the Self-Storage industry catering for both personal and business storage. We are seeking an Assistant Manager, a professional able to work autonomously and as part of a team, operating from our new state-of-the-art facility in Welshpool.... The Role will include but not be limited to: - Identify and develop business opportunities to increase occupancy levels and sales through new business and existing customers. - Strong emphasis on face to face sales role and managing telephone enquiries, with the highest service level offering to our customers. - Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers. - Assist with marketing planning and implementation. - Updating and maintaining records on our computerised customer data system - Achieve profitable sales growth for the facility through maximising occupancy levels as well as associated sales of packaging merchandise and insurance. - Ensure effective delivery of the company's products and services through communication with clients, all relevant company personnel and other service providers. The position requires high level of salesmanship and Customer Service from a person who would enjoy autonomy after the initial training period. The position calls for a self-motivated individual with strong customer focus. We are seeking a person who has the capacity and adaptability to work with a wide range of customers and service providers. Skills and Experience: - A proven track record with at least 3 years' experience in business development, sales and customer relationship management with an ability to exceed sales targets. - Although not essential, sales, service or hospitality industry experience is highly regarded. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively. - Strong computer skills with an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. - Effective time management skills and attention to detail in administrative tasks. - Self-motivation and the ability to work without supervision. - High personal standards in relation to quality of work and personal presentation. - Ongoing weekend work will be required with rostered days off during the week. Training on our facility, range of products and services is provided along with a competitive salary, bonus structure and excellent working conditions.
