23.01.2022 Come on peeps! We need the Yarra Valley fruit harvested! Find out how you can help the harvest this season. Make friends, get fit, and get paid for it!!

15.01.2022 Warm and windy tonight in the Yarra Valley! Queensland fruit fly breeding is triggered by temperature. If there are any fruit fly around we need to prevent them... breeding. A stitch in time saves 9- or 800 in the case of QFF!! Any evenings where the temperature is 15deg C means QFF will breed! Make sure you have your make QFF traps installed! 02.01.2022 Hi Yarra Glen!! Has anyone else found QFF in their backyard yet? Have you put in a trap or two?... Hoogies has some affordable traps you can put in your back yard to monitor for QFF. Has anyone baited with protein bait? I know of two people that have so far. More people are needed for baiting. Has anyone picked fruit so it doesn't get infested? I know one lady is going to book a person to prune her fruit trees this winter to keep them small and manageable next season. Put your comments below so others can get some ideas on what's needed, and I can see if people need help. We need to manage this as a township.
