13.01.2022 What ive found is that while most people say carb diets are best for building muscle, keto is just as good, if not better. My reasoning is this; when youre in ketosis, your workout is not limited by the carbs in your body. I am able to lift weights for longer periods of time and produce a lot more volume because my glycogen isnt being depleted (I have unlimited workout-fuel in the form of fat) and I do not get hungry in the middle of lifts (because my body is not craving glycogen for energy). Because I am able to lift for longer periods of time without getting fatigued, I am able to put on more muscle, even in maintenance/deficit caloric intakes
