20.01.2022 Workshop and office will be closed Thursday 26th November (next Thursday)due to Ergon cutting power for six hours to do necessary maintenance on there system. We cant do a lot without power so elected to remain closed for the day.

19.01.2022 Service on a Toyota revealed a list of required jobs but this ball joint is a serious safety concern have seen a few fail some with collateral damage broken brake pipes drive shafts panels damaged and requiring a tow this one will be fixed before a failure which is why we look for this stuff at service and roadworty inspections

16.01.2022 Had a 4x4 utility in a while back lower of front shock broken there are two front shocks and these two bolts hold the whole front of vehicle up. We keep an eye on these as we have seen these fail a few times mostly like this one they just sit there but a couple of times have seen them go pear shaped and jam up The CV shaft and tear the boots and take out the brake pipes also. That brand of vehicle is this from ?

14.01.2022 4D56 Mitsubishi in for timing belt not uncommon to find the balance belt broken on disassembly lucky it just sat there and didn't get all strung up in the works and cause a many thousand dollar engine failure

14.01.2022 Had a Bravo for universal joints today jacked the front to spin the tail shaft around when the wheel lost contact with the hoist noticed the bottom of the wheel jumped sideways closer look revealed loose bolts on the top ball joint. Owner was greatfull we noticed before it was a crash or tow

Monday we are open but we are doing training in common rail diesel systems from a friend who has built a great business from running training courses all over Australia and New Zealand so we might not answer the phone straight away but leave a message it will only be a for half the day

11.01.2022 A good reason to service cooling systems our coolant lasts 5 years 100,000k that's about as long as most people keep there cars so most don't even get serviced by the original owner but down the track it gets expensive not servicing this is an inlet manifold corroded. It's likely on removal we will find more troubles and then the timing case housing also theres no reason to expect it will be any good to reuse. So hundreds of dollars in repairs or a hundred dollars ever five years ($20.00 a year roughly) to keep it corrosion free

08.01.2022 Bit hard to see this is a 1am tow job this poor fully loaded trailer has had a flat tyre for a very long time and then the u bolts on the other side let go would need a lot of horsepower and grip to continue so I picked it up and loaded on to the top of another trailer
