22.01.2022 '2020 Virtual Relay for Life' ' jessycArrollFiteNHL' This time last year, Team 'jessycArrollFiteNHL' were 4 hours into their relay, walking 140.8km in a 24 hour period (averaging 5.86 km/h) and keeping the baton moving throughout. Our team raised $2,750 for 'The Cancer Council' and vital funds to continue the fight against cancer. We were walking for the survivors of cancer, the carers and mostly, much loved and never forgotten son, grandchild..., brother, cousin, nephew and friend Jessy Carroll. Like Jessy, we will always remain strong, brave and never give up. Most importantly we will remain 'happy'. Jessy's legacy remains, 'Happiness is the goal, want it for everyone'. 2020 VIRTUAL RELAY FOR LIFE This year, you are invited to walk or run your own distance between 1030 am on November 28, finishing at 1030 am on November 29. Walk/run as far as you want during this period and email your distance to [email protected] by 1159 pm on November 29. 03.01.2022 KVM becomes the first clinic in the NW to join the HALT Programme! H-ope A-ssistance L-ocal... T-radies HALT builds the bridge between both local and national support services for people at risk of suicide in the local community. That is, to facilitate the spreading of information and raise awareness of groups such as Lifeline and Beyond Blue, open up conversations and break through the stigma attached to mental health We have identified a need for greater support for people at risk, especially men and women in 'tradie' occupations, although we recognise the need for such support is broad. HALT's vision is that every tradie in Australia knows how to look after their mental health and well being. Contact the clinic on 9331 6967 to find out more information about the HALT programme and to make an appointment to see one of our GP's and/or psychologists. KVM representatives will be attending HALT Tradie BBQ's in 2020 to provide further information.
