23.01.2022 COVID 19 has proved challenging but it couldn't dampen the enthusiasm of the Keith Ladies when they took to the green today. There were plenty of laughs and some good bowling too!! Good luck to our Ladies Pennant side for tomorrow's Semi Final game against Tintinara at Mundulla. Get 'em close ladies!!

23.01.2022 Congratulations to Barry Oliver who was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation at Naracoorte Bowling Club on Sunday on behalf of Bowls SA. Barry who has recently relinquished his position as Events Coordinator due to ill health has been involved with Bowls SA holding positions of Assistant Councillor and then Councillor. Well done Barry.

23.01.2022 How different can 2 days be- hot on Friday and as cold as on Saturday for the Semi Final of Div 1 between Mundulla and Keith Green played at Mundulla, after the rain cleared. Up until the smoko break the Keith sides weren't far off the pace, just 6 shots down overall, but that's about where the joy ended. At the 25th end the only rink to be in touch with Mundulla was that of Daryl Stopp only 4 shots in arrears, but overall they found themselves 36 shots down. With all teams out of the finals race we can now concentrate on having a great time at our Presentation Night this Saturday (20th March), 6.30pm at the club. Please bring a savoury plate to share, sweets will be provided, come along and have a great night at the club to wind up our 20/21 season.

21.01.2022 Unfortunately, due to lack of entries the Australia Day Pairs competition has been cancelled.

21.01.2022 Save The Date: Keith Bowling Club's Australia Day Tournament is coming up soon, have you got your entry in yet??,

16.01.2022 Congratulations to Jenny Trengove (sk), Merilyn Hilton and Maureen Oliver on winning the club Championship Triples last week.

15.01.2022 The finals of the Singles Champions for the Club were played on Tuesday and Wednesday. Congratulations to the winners and everyone who entered the competitions. The last of the Championship events will be finalized soon, the men play their Triples this Saturday and the Ladies finish their Champ Pairs on 17th February.. Please note, tap photos for results

10.01.2022 WOW what a week at the Keith Bowling Club. Last Sunday Keith hosted the Champ of Champ Fours and the team of Trevor Towill (sk), Andrew Kotz, Warren Ingerson and Geoff Hams (who subbed for Ross Wales) were successful with straight wins, to become the Association Champ Fours team. They will play at Naracoorte on March 7th along with Daryl Stopp, the Association Champ Singles winner. On Monday the ladies Champ Pairs team of Muriel Smart and Maureen Oliver played at Tintinar...a and whilst not reaching the next level they acquitted themselves very well. Good work. On Tuesday the ladies held a very successful Invitation Day. Winners of the day were Naracoorte with Penola not far behind them. On Wednesday the first of four Barefoot Bowls nights was held, and what a night. 24 teams of four players, lots of laughs, some interesting bowling styles, but a lot of untapped talent on display. Winners for week 1 are the "Smartarse" group of Bill Mayfield, Brett Borgmeyer, Ryan Smart and Tom Osborne. On Friday night we held a club tea and even though it was a long weekend there was a good attendance and the fish was sensational. Thankyou to the kitchen staff. Today the Club was represented at the 100th birthday celebration of the Bordertown Bowling Club. It was great to be part of those celebrations, a fantastic effort for a sporting club. Tomorrow the club will host the Champ of Champ Triples with our team of Bruce Hartmann (sk), Daryl Stopp and Gordon Stopp Wil play against the other club Champions in our Association. Good luck. There's never a dull moment in the day of a bowler. Well done to everyone, be they players, caterers or helpers, non of this can happen without members working together. See more

09.01.2022 Last Wednesday was another great night at the Keith Bowling Club with the Barefoot Bowlers all keen to take to the green. There were some close games with the nightly winners being the "McMurray's" on 29 points. Hot on their heels though were "The Odd Man Out" side on 28 points +25 shots with "The BLT'S" in third spot also on 28 points but only 13 shots up. With 6 teams still undefeated and only 2 weeks remaining tomorrow nights game will be crucial.. who will take out the big prize?? However, tomorrow night is dress up night with the rink judged the best awarded the prize and, more importantly bragging rights till next year, so hope you've all got your outfits ready and are set to impress the judges.. Everyone is welcome to call in and check things out, the bar will be open and EFTPOS facilities are available.

08.01.2022 Doing anything this Friday night?? Why not come to the Keith Bowling Club for a delicious meal at a great price. 6 for 6.30pm start. Bar will be open, drinks will be cold, see you there

08.01.2022 The third week of Barefoot Bowls was dress up night and quite a few players got into the "spirit" of the evening with some great outfits on display. P&P (aka Keith Pharmacy) were judges the best dressed, I don't think any bribes were accepted. Special mentions went to The Superwomen (Mandy Barwick and Hannah Braun), and to the Smartarse group who stretched netball uniforms like they've never been stretch before. The Bowls results for the night were very close with the winners being the Post Office on 28 points, 10 shots. Second went to Elders on 28pts 8 shots and coming in right on their tail were the BLT's on 28 pts, 7 shots. So this Wednesday, the final night, it will be very interesting to see who gets over the line. Who will win the Barefoot Bowls crown for 2021??

08.01.2022 Congratulations to Warren Ingerson(sk) and Warren Sowman on winning the Club Championship Pairs on Sunday in very warm conditions, defeating Geoff Hams and Kevin Schreiber

07.01.2022 Congratulations to Marj Richardson (sk), Anna Young, Wendy Thomas and Sheryl Hunt on winning the Club Championship Fours today. A great way to celebrate your special birthday Marj. A photo of the winners and more details will be publushed as they come to hand. Tomorrow the Keith ladies take on Mundulla Gold in the Pennant Grand Final to be played at Mundulla. Good luck Keith, hope you can bring home the flag. This Friday night there is a Christmas Tea at the club from 6.30 pm. The bar will be open and a warm welcome is extended to anyone who would like to join us. The more the merrier.

07.01.2022 The winners of the Club Champ Fours are Trev Towill (sk), Andrew Kotz, Warren Ingerson and Ross Wales. Congratulations to you all. This Wednesday the ladies will play their Champ Singles and the men will play their's on Satyrday.

06.01.2022 Following a directive received from Bowls SA yesterday, due to new COVID restrictions there will be no competitive bowls played for the next 2 weeks. The situation will then be reassed. In the meantime, we hope everyone stays safe.
