25.01.2022 One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing com...munity service this week.' The florist was pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door. Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen doughnuts waiting for him at his door. Then a Member of Parliament came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The Member of Parliament was very happy and left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Members of Parliament lined up waiting for a free haircut. And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it. If you don't forward this you have no sense of humour.

19.01.2022 Part Two - Sanding all the boards. As they are not new pallets some of the boards are well weathered - almost black. That means about 75 boards - Front and Back, but don't forget the sides and round off the sharp edge as well. Total about - 40 hours (I lost count)

19.01.2022 At our local Men's Shed, we received a request from the IGA in Katanning wanting to know if our shed could make a bread stand out of recycled pine pallets. That didn't look to hard - but wait - They want SIX of them - OK if we can make ONE we can make six - Right!! Over the next week or so I will put up some photos of progress.... Starting with pulling apart the pallets and all the nails removed,- and now I know the size of the job.

13.01.2022 The tallest tree in Wales had been damaged by a storm and was supposed to be cut down ... but chainsaw artist Simon O'Rourke found a better solution to symbolise the tree's last attempt to reach the sky. https://mymodernmet.com/simon-o-rourke-chainsaw-carving-ha/

10.01.2022 This very old piece of machinary, and I am going by the wheels. What we do know is: It is a Massey Harris implement from Canada. It is on display at Yilgam hist...ory museum - BUT they don't know what is is or was used for, and would like to know. DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS to solve this mystery? Pease send this this out to anybody you know who may be able to help. Thanks in advance

09.01.2022 "I have been using this implement, which is a road grader made out of a second-hand bulldozer track on our 8,000-acre farm in the Australian Outback for the las...t 15 years. It clears our road from stones and also makes a good firebreak. I was using it to clear the track for spreading fertilizer next week and took the footage out of the back window of the tractor as I was driving along. Some people think that it leaves a canal and will run the water along the road. We live in the driest continent on Earth. That would be fantastic if that happens!. In 15 years, we have had no issues yet. The end result is a track that you normally would drive 20km/hour on being able to drive at 60km/ hour on." : Matt Coddington via ViralHog

04.01.2022 For a while now I have been wanting to make a tin horse to go in-front of a Old cart but didn't know where to start. Then it struck me - The head of course, so here is the Head. Next will be the Body - Two 44 gallon drums will do.
04.01.2022 It's hard to believe that these lambs are only SIX days old.
03.01.2022 Step Four: Painting has started on a lot of pine pallet boards, we have the first coat on about half of the timber on the top and sides of the boards. This is going to take a couple of days with painted timber layed out all over the work shop. The one thing we cant do is stack up the painted boards as they will glue themselves together.
