24.01.2022 Our new cubbyland village is really coming together. The bases are done and the fences are up ready for the themed cubbies to go in. The cubby land village will have a town square, a well, street signs, roads and it will feature a school house, police station, farm house, farmers market, a cafe along with a custom made Japanese tea house and more. We can not wait for this project to be ready for use. The big kids (aka staff) are just as excited as the little ones. Stay tuned!

21.01.2022 We can finally show the project our 6/7 teacher Mr Kris Batsiokis and SSO Ali Nelson have been working on. This mural was designed to bring the plain concrete drama space wall to life. It certainly does brighten the area up and also shows visitors where our Performing Arts and STEM programs are delivered to our students. It looks fantastic! Thank you also goes to the students and family members who helped with this project.

20.01.2022 The cherry blossoms, known in Japan as sakura, are well known around the world for their radiant, delicate and transient beauty. However they are more than simply beautiful trees, as the sakura have powerful ties to Japans history, culture and identity. We are very fortunate at KFPS to be surrounded by these magnificent trees that brighten up the grounds at this time of year. They also signify that Spring is upon us and the warmer weather is coming.

19.01.2022 The students are loving our new cubby land village. Signs have started going up.

02.01.2022 11am today commemorates 102 years since the guns fell silent, ending World War 1. 60,000 Australians died in defence of our nation and many thousands more died of their mental and physical injuries after they returned home. Most people are unaware that as well as the traditional red poppy worn to mark this day, that there is also the purple poppy, remembering animals that died during conflict. We will remember them.

01.01.2022 It's getting closer....

01.01.2022 The KFPS Cubby Land Village is looking AMAZING! The landscaping and final touches are being done.
