24.01.2022 Here's a podcast of an ABC radio interview I did yesterday with Helen Shields about 'Catching Your Breath' (https://catchingyourbreath.net.au) at Royal Hobart Hospital. My interview starts at 16mins and 14 seconds into the program and goes for about 10mins... enjoy!
13.01.2022 Check out this moving short documentary by film maker Biz Adams, about the making of the blown glass 'Catching Your Breath' public artwork recently installed at Royal Hobart Hospital by Tasmanian artist Keith Dougall. The film forms part of a complimentary community engagement project which saw over 300 people donate their breath into the artwork, each documented on a beautiful website which features this and a number of other videos capturing stories from those who donated their breath: https://www.catchingyourbreath.net.au
05.01.2022 Thanks for liking my new page everyone! And for the awesome comments - they mean a lot :-) If you want to know what I'm looking at in this photo (taken by Mr Steve Cooper) you'll have to go visit the website (if you haven't already) at https://www.catchingyourbreath.net.au I've just added a 'Like' button on the website that would be great if you could click to help get this out there... Thanks guys! (PS: how am I doing at FB for dummies?!)
05.01.2022 I'm feeling very honoured to have had this article published today by the ABC in conjunction with a TV interview which aired on tonight's ABC Tas News (right at the end after the weather!). Big thanks to Fiona Blackwood and her crew for a great job in putting this together!
02.01.2022 The Catching Your Breath project at Royal Hobart Hospital is drawing to a close after more than two and half years in the making. Check out the recently completed website at www.catchingyourbreath.net.au where you can watch the 'Making Of' video on the home page and view photos and videos of the 300+ breath donors who blew their breath into glass bubbles that are now part of the finished artwork hanging in the new K-Block.
