22.01.2022 well I have been a bit absent on here for a while now, but have been very busy sewing and beading and procrastinating. who doesn't procrastinate when choosing fabrics, beads and patterns. This is my butterfly wings I have made for a little miss.. Being my first attempt at something like this, I have made a few boo boos, but then i started to bead to add some sparkle. what little girl doesn't like a bit of sparkle! the pattern is from Twig and Tale...

20.01.2022 I had a request for a mum monkey and a baby. After a couple of sample and a load of procrastination the 2 finally came together.. Have also made some vines and a net swag so the 2 can hang around...

20.01.2022 This is a bag for a special teacher, who is a recycling advocate, hence the denim pockets, the lining was a tablecloth that I died and re-use. there is a wallet enclosed in the front pocket(must a take a photo) that is from recycled threads, xmas ribbons, and jeans again... covered up with a bit of organza. Hopefully the bag will be big enough for carting homework home, or shopping or for the library..

19.01.2022 this project has taken a while longer than planned... but ended up looking okay. the felt book fits inside a gusseted pocket on 1 side of the bag. this should keep a certain young miss very entertained on the trips to Geraldton ( I hope)!

19.01.2022 i made these little bags to carry a coffee mug for a few ladies. my little wacky style. but they were cute, even if a bit wonky

17.01.2022 This is a bag I made for a young fellow who's been patiently waiting for his own bag. the bag ended up being rather busy, like it's new owner.. the gussetted pocket with the bunny's head on it holds a fabric book... the pictures tell the story I hope...

17.01.2022 have a stash from Shirl that i will work through eventually, so made Noelene, Kylie and Laureen a simple bag each with bits from this stash. watch out ladies, i have enough stuff to make you all a number of bags, or cushions... so much fabric, lace, ribbons and buttons...feeling so grateful ladies... Shirl is watching me and I know she will be laughing in between her tut tutting..

15.01.2022 this is a project that I started a while ago. taken longer than normal, but had to think this through. the felt book fits into a gusseted pocket to keep it and it's 'bits' safe. hopefully this will keep the little miss entertained on the road trips... good luck Emma Davey

14.01.2022 This is another bag for a teacher who loves Dress Up! what a fun lady she must be... I have put pockets on the outside and big ones inside as well. have made her accessories for dress ups. I think every lady should have her own crown and this lady gets 2. the pocket on the outside has an elephant appliqued on to the pocket bottom, and hidden behind the head is the flap to the pocket, so it closes. then there are a couple of masks, elephant and panda to cover for when she's feeling a bit mischievious in the classroom sometime. I've made a dress up doll with a few wigs as this same lady loves wearing fun wigs as well as being an avid ACDC fan. Hope she enjoys the fun this bag represents.inside the front pocket is a little card sewn together, but uh oh, I forgot to get photos of that...

13.01.2022 A lovely couple got married recently, so I spent a few weeks putting these together. put together with lots of love and memories for Brodie and James.

12.01.2022 I had my 12 month check up with my oncologist last week, and took in a bundle of bags I had made for the Cancer shop at Charlie Gardner hospital. These were sitting around waiting to be finished, so achieved that much. now to try and finish a few more unfinished items.

11.01.2022 Well, have recently moved back home and finally got my sewing space sorted. instead of curtain, I have hung all of my laces and trims to add a bit of colour and see what I have instead of going through storage boxes to find it. Feeling the urge to get creating, Let's see what i can make today...

10.01.2022 I've been absent for a bit. got a couple of family issues that need my attention.. however, these crowns I made for all of the gals at our lovely family Christmas Lunch. they were a hit and looked gorgeous.

09.01.2022 Supposed to be doing another project today, but thought I would like to play. the end result was a wallet which i am giving to a friend....It's been so long since I played doing this sort of thing. really love the colours and textures...

08.01.2022 Had the pleasure of making a few Tooth Fairy pillows recently. my first ever.. a bit of fun.. still need to get another made, but thinking about colours etc.Seeing as it's for a girl ( tom boy) not sure if it should be pink or not...

08.01.2022 2 wallets I have managed to get done today Robyn Brown. it's really challenging to redo the one I made yesterday... have done the best I could there is still 1 on the work table which i shall finish later today. fresh photos, including the the one I have just finished ( purple lining)

05.01.2022 this is a project I started a few months ago.. Sadly life gets in the way for a lot of us.. but perserverance paid off and I finally let my ideas come forth... found a container of sequins I forgot I had and a few of them found their way onto this. 01.01.2022 I have been busy over the weekend making an activity quilt for a friend's grandmother who is suffering from Dimensia. The idea of the quilt is to have interactive components to keep fingers and mind busy. I hope I have achieved this. there are a couple of pockets, and lots of little bits and pieces to keep this special lady's finger very busy indeed. It's just waiting for a couple of finishing touches, like sewing the binding down and the wrap it ready to put in the post tomorrow... a very enjoyable task this has been..thank you for trusting me with this project Michelle.

01.01.2022 This was an order for a special lady who's 3 grandchildren simply adore. Her birthdy was early this month, so I hope she enjoys it...
