20.01.2022 Today is R U OK? Day - a national day of action dedicated to reminding us to check in on loved ones and support those struggling with life's ups and downs. This year the theme is "There's more to say after R U OK?" It is important to follow up with those who may say they are not OK - learning how to keep the conversation going could change a life.

20.01.2022 Have you met Mindful? Mindful helps us to manage our feelings, time, energy and actions to achieve our learning goals.

19.01.2022 Today we hosted the inaugural SIDE and KDHS Dragster Race. As a part of our woodwork program the years 7-10 students designed and built a dragster car. Today they raced against each other through knockout heats concluding in a showdown between the fastest cars. The primary school students cheered on the competitors and at the conclusion of the race all students enjoyed a sausage sizzle lunch, which was generously donated by SIDE. ... We thank Des, Michael and Scott from SIDE for their help in hosting the race and we're excited to see where our partnership with SIDE leads our Year 7-10 students in 2021!

18.01.2022 Important update- COVID 19 guidelines for schools. This week, you will notice some of our staff wearing face masks. This is because they have visited the Peel or Metro area on or after 31st January. Please talk to your children about the face masks and how they ensure the safety of ourselves and our community. For Kellerberrin DHS, this means any secondary student that has been to Perth, Peel or SW this weekend or earlier will be expected to bring a mask to school for perso...nal use. Should you not have a mask, please visit the front office or phone ahead to arrange to get one. Primary students are not required to wear a mask. Parents and carers who have travelled in to the affected areas are expected to wear a mask and follow the lockdown transition advice. This advice is valid until 14th of February.

06.01.2022 6 DAYS UNTIL SCHOOL STARTS Having sleep and mealtime routines is important for your child's wellbeing. It helps healthy development of their mind and body ... Reduce your child's snacking and wean them off junk food. Children aged 6 to 13 years should be sleeping 9-11 hours a night. Teenagers aged 14 to 17 should get 8-10 hours of sleep a night. Sweet dreams #BringOn2021 See more
