23.01.2022 Definitely no relation to me, I have never seen the situation described happen in Sydney, I however am unsure of the refrigeration available in Rockhampton although I would think that any changes should have occurred within the crematorium and the family notified of any delays or changes to her coffin even if it is a temporary measure. NSW Health require that a coffin that has had a deceased person placed within it but is not used for service ie: if the mortician placed a dec...eased person in the incorrect coffin that coffin must be destroyed. I know there are some misconceptions in the community that Funeral Companies change the coffins before cremation, I have not seen this occur and I would never try to do this, unlike other large firms I do not put 300% mark up on my coffins. The community entrusts us with their loved ones we should always exceed their expectations. See more

22.01.2022 A beautiful day for a beautiful funeral

20.01.2022 I want to start building my business, I want to be able to offer different styles and colour coffins. What colours or features do you find appealing?

15.01.2022 Can we talk about death? I know many people are very superstitious when it comes to talking about their final wishes, but we need to start looking at things differently. Perhaps you really haven’t given it any thought or you feel that speaking the words will invite death, the reality is last wishes will help your loved ones when the time comes. Most of us will live well into our 80’s and even 90’s, although sadly this will not be the case for everyone. ... I have sat down with many families that simply had no idea how their loved one wanted to be celebrated at the time of their death, it is a sad and overwhelming time for those left behind and knowing your final wishes relieves your loved ones of some of the confusion that comes with making decisions when you are grieving. I know there seems to be a lot of mystery surrounding the Funeral Industry, I don’t believe that is because we as an industry don’t want to talk about it, it is because this subject is still so taboo. Let’s lift the veil and talk about death, I promise it will not cause your untimely passing but it will give you true knowledge and hopefully change the way we all deal with death. I invite anyone to ask me questions, I will gladly explain any of the steps from death to farewell. Kellie

09.01.2022 What beautiful work this lady does, pregnancy loss should be recognised and talked about, all grief is valid

08.01.2022 I thought this was a very honest loving obituary, remembering the quirky and humorous things about our loved ones is a very important part of the grieving process
