25.01.2022 A reminder that, whilst it may sound counterintuitive, focusing on your child’s strengths will help you better address your child’s weaknesses. What do they lov...e to do? What excites them? What do they feel passionate about? Simply observe your children with an eye out for what they do well. #strengths #positiveparenting #positivepsychology http://bit.ly/33vrVNv

20.01.2022 3 months ago I would have balked at the idea of facilitating workshops online. I don’t even use PowerPoint - I’m a face to face, discussion based facilitator. One of my key strengths is being able to read the room and respond to the participant’s needs. I didn’t imagine I could achieve the same outcomes online. I was WRONG! Due to the changes we are facing with Covid-19, I am now doing all of my coaching via Zoom or Teams, and am also facilitating workshops for leaders, assi...sting them to navigate the new challenges, via the same platforms. And it’s WORKING well! Nothing like a crisis to open our minds to change. #everythingwillbeok #leadershipfacilitation #millseatontraining

17.01.2022 It’s not fear that gets in the way of daring leadership; it’s armor. 13.01.2022 "Take a deep breath. Hug a friend. Reach for the ceiling and stretch your limbs. Each of these simple acts bestows a sense of calm and comfort. And each works i...ts soothing magic in part by activating a complicated system of nerves that connects the brain to the heart, the gut, the immune system, and many of the organs. 07.01.2022 I like this definition. Does your organisation try to ‘tick the box’ with diversity or do they create a culture of belonging?

07.01.2022 Finding new ways to help our clients!

05.01.2022 To all of the parents on Zoom calls whose kids interrupt - it’s okay. To all of you whose partners make a brief noise in the background while you’re talking to a colleague online - it’s okay. To all of you worrying that your home office (aka kitchen, dining room, bedroom) isn’t flash - it’s okay. ... During this crazy time we have needed to invite our bosses, staff, workmates, clients and some strangers into our home. Let me repeat that last bit... Into OUR home. It is the place we have created for ourselves and in it, live the people who are most important to us. ...Most important to us. So let’s just relax and stop worrying about how professional we look as we try to navigate the challenges of this current new world. Focus on the positives. Enjoy wearing your comfy pants and slippers - If that’s what you do. Enjoy drinking your cuppa from your favourite cup. Enjoy knowing your family are close by and safe with you. Enjoy the reduced commute each day. It’s okay. We aren’t judging you. We are all in this together. Everything will be okay.
