20.01.2022 ****** Latest Update - communicated to email database ****** Hi Everyone! As I'm sure you are all aware, Queensland is in a 3-day lockdown effective from 5pm today. This affects all classes this week including Wednesday evening with Julz (Bracken Ridge SS) and Thursday morning at Fitzgibbon community centre. ... We were having a break for Easter prior to this announcement, hence no classes Good Friday evening or Easter Sunday afternoon as per previous newsletter. Please stay safe, have a lovely Easter and I will update you all as soon as I can. Thanks as always for your understanding XO Kel

We still continue our support of this wonderful cause, but this year let’s do it a little differently. ... Instead of fundraising, let’s stand in solidarity and check in with our girls by starting the conversation with ‘what’s on your mind?’ - it could save a life. I invite all who are comfortable to pop on their most bright and bold lippy for all our classes throughout September. Here's a weekly update for you: Local hall classes resume tomorrow night: Wed 6.30pm (with Miss Julz ) Bracken Ridge State School hall.... Attached are the latest restriction updates: ****Please take a moment to read this***** https://www.qld.gov.au//publi/restrictions-for-queensland Please remember to bring your mask to classes. Masks can be removed upon strenuous exercise however we must adhere to the rules whilst entering, exiting and general moving around indoor venues. Of course physical distancing and hygiene standards apply, just as they were prior to our recent lockdown. Other classes locally this week include: 9.30 am Thursday- Fitzgibbon Community Centre 6.00 pm Friday - Fitzgibbon Community Centre 4.30pm Sunday - Brighton State School Kids Classes (outdoor) 9.00 am Wed - Deception Bay (weather permitting) 3.00 pm Wed - Arthur Davis Park Sandgate (weather permitting) 9.00 am Fri - Mango Hill (weather permitting) Please Note: Kedron Wavell Services Club have notified members that KFIT classes will not be on whilst masks are mandatory indoors. Outstanding Zumba Gold class this morning at Kedron Wavell in our new ‘fancy room’, back to Kindy classes (who worked Miss Kel very hard ) but with beautiful behaviour. Finishing off with our epic Poundstars for a double whammy lol all while being Covid safe. #tryingtogetbacktothenewnormal and PS kids are getting interested in instruments again! awwwwYeah!

03.01.2022 Greater Brisbane is entering a three-day lockdown. This is to stop the spread of COVID-19 after 7 locally acquired cases identified in the community. From 5pm t...onight until 5pm Thursday 1 April, anyone who has been in the local government areas of Brisbane, Ipswich, Moreton Bay, Logan and Redlands on or since 20 March can only leave home for one of these four reasons: obtain essential goods or services, including health care exercise attend essential work or childcare assist vulnerable persons. Further restrictions in Greater Brisbane include: You must carry a face mask at all times when you leave home, unless you have a lawful reason not to. You must wear a face mask in indoor public spaces, on public transport and outdoors when you cannot physically distance. You don't need to wear a face mask in a private vehicle Limit of two visitors to your home (not including your household, volunteers and workers) Restaurants and cafes to provide takeaway or home delivery service only All non-essential businesses to close; cinemas, entertainment and recreation venues, hairdressers, gyms etc Places of worship to close Schools will close from Tuesday, except for children of essential workers Childcare to remain open 20 people can attend funerals, 10 people can attend weddings. 01.01.2022 Just finished reading this amazing book. Wow so many great stories ... let me know if you want to borrow it xo should we have our own book club ladies? No $$$ changes hands and we have perfect distribution places at classes I have many biographies and autobiographies but also have many fiction books from previous swaps over the years from award winning writers. I can’t stand these books collecting dust. Let’s chat yay!
