14.01.2022 What are your grateful for this week? What do you have to celebrate? 13.01.2022 I’m such a big believer in a holistic approach to your business and marketing. I’ve had conversations with a few business owners recently who have followed a magic pill, only to realise success doesn’t come from just ONE aspect, it comes from all elements working well together. So that one marketing tactic won’t work if your landing page design creates a horrible experience for the user. That amazing looking landing page won’t work if the copy doesn’t speak to your ideal clie...nt. And that slick Facebook ads copy won’t work if you’re not targeting the right people. And that’s without looking at what happens BEYOND that page like the email sequence, sales page and nurturing storytelling. The story, strategy and systems all need to be brought together. So on that note, and knowing sometimes we overlook the basics of our systems, I wanted to introduce you to one of those elements - the humble lead page https://kellieobrien.com.au//create-high-converting-landi/

11.01.2022 Are your fingers punching out yet another message that isn't really true to who you are, but you feel it's part of the essential routine to build awareness? I know the feeling. That used to be me. Problem was, no one was engaging. Or, if they did, they weren’t really aligned clients. ... I want to share how to craft personalised business stories that help you sell soulfully - even if you're not a writer https://kellieobrien.lpages.co/business-storytelling-train/

11.01.2022 We can often get stuck in our ways and having someone else’s mind on your business allows you to see things you hadn’t seen before How often do you find yourself trying to figure it all out on your own in business? If I'd kept treading that path, I wouldn't have realised I wasn't meant to be running a public relations business, but rather focusing on online marketing and sales funnels. It took someone else to shine a light on this for me to notice.... Here's what happened https://kellieobrien.com.au/2018/08/womens-mastermind-group/

11.01.2022 I've loved watching how clients attract just the right people and then invite them to invest, without ever feeling like they're pushing their message on people. 09.01.2022 You've probably read plenty of "rags to riches" stories and felt you can't compete. But I want you to know that you don't have to find the biggest story for your marketing to work. In fact, it's the most relatable story that works best. Here's a story prompts based on adversity that might inspire a story for your next marketing piece:... My biggest challenge in life/business was when (insert story) which led me to (outcome/lesson/philosophy). You can find more story prompts here: https://kellieobrien.lpages.co/storytelling-map-world/

09.01.2022 Understanding your ideal client can be quite challenging at times. However, often we don't also look at who we are and why people are attracted to us in the first place. For example, by digging into the personality type of my ideal client I've identified that I attract people who: have great big visions, but don't know how to turn them into reality know how to connect and build relationships, but doesn't have the structures and systems to support audience growth... loves working in a team, but doesn't want to handle the details or anything tech-related What are your personality traits and how do they complement your ideal client?

08.01.2022 I've been talking a lot this week with clients and colleagues about having had time to pause lately and how that brings about greater creativity and clarity. I think there was a point where things were so busy, being creative was much harder. Do you give yourself time to pause to let the creativity and ideas in?

01.01.2022 In my mid 20s I was heavily into guitar playing, singing and songwriting. I performed at everything from restaurants to major community Christmas carol concerts. I even recorded a few original songs in a studio. I remember there was one girl who I'd always have to follow at concerts. Her voice was amazing and I always felt so inadequate going after her. She was young and had spent years singing harmonies in church. Harmonies were not my strong point. I tortured myself for yea...rs for not being able to sound like her. Funny thing is, years later I would find out she was envious of my ability to write original songs and sing them publicly. The thought of that terrified her! Often, with marketing, we get swept into comparisonitis. Someone else looks to have far better marketing than we do. They seem to have it all together. And here we are, still struggling to even get our marketing plan done - let alone putting something out into the world. We get so overwhelmed by the tasks we have to do in our own business and get paralysed by comparing our marketing to what others are doing, that actually taking action gets side-swiped. Don't get held back because you're comparing yourself to someone else. I often wonder what would have become of my "singing career" had I stopped focusing so much on what wasn't a strength and actually zoomed in on the thing that made me stand out. What makes you stand out? How can you leverage that and use it as motivation to get.that.marketing.plan.done... And want to know a little secret? Many of those people you so admire don't actually have a marketing plan in place. They're just as overwhelmed as you are and are wishing they had a plan to follow. You can get one step ahead of them... I'm cheering you on from the front row! Download your 12-month marketing plan to get started https://kellieobrien.com.au//your-12-month-marketing-plan/
