This groom Alan and his best man Chris {purple shirts} came to me with a plan of surprising Leigh, Alan’s partner and mother of their children, with finally getting married at the groom’s 50th birthday. 03.01.2022 HONEYMOON IN LOCKDOWN Georgie & Luke were getting married on 2nd May everything was planned and their NOIM signed months ago. Yesterday their function room cancelled due to COVID-19. Disappointment quickly turned to excitement when I gave them the option of moving their date. Now I have an ecstatic bride and groom who are being married tonight. Yes it’s on a smaller scale, being held outside and current health precautions will be stringently adhered to. ... We met this morning and signed stat decs and planned their ceremony. 03.01.2022 In the middle of such a crazy time everything stopped for a short moment while Luke & Georgie promised their love for each other. On the pier at Shorncliffe last night they both said ‘I do’ surrounded by a small group of family and friends. Even though everyone was 1.5m apart, the love of Luke & Georgie filled those small gaps. This keeps me up to date with current trends, the opportunity to revise certain parts of the Marriage Act and to hang out with fellow celebrants. 01.01.2022 Sometimes my work as a celebrant takes me to places I’ve never been. Last week I travelled to Banana for a beautiful wedding. The couple had set up what could only be described as an oasis for their ceremony. Gus and Katie heard about my services through Elegant Event Planning Management in Rockhampton.
