25.01.2022 So Smoke has still been a grump lately and hes leaving me baffled!! Ive had his new saddle fitted, been treating for ulcers, had the chiro check him over and hes still not happy, so tonight my little Smokey bear is chilling at Horsemed ready to be scoped in the morning. Hell have his teeth done too while hes sleepy and give him every chance of getting back to his happy self. Heres hoping we figure out whats going on so he can get back to being Mr Happy that we know and love!

19.01.2022 The start of a busy couple of weeks for us, which is nice after doing nothing for 5 months! From tomorrow we will be open nightly at West Beach Parks, Adelaide ...and the Wallaroo Holiday Park. 5pm - 9pm For our Alice Springs followers, don't worry, we are still at the BIG4 Macdonnell Range Holiday Park each evening from 6pm - 9pm! While out and about yesterday I received the news that I had been selected as one of a four riders to represent this wonderful brand! 17.01.2022 I took Oceans bit off his bridle today and turned it into a bit of a make shift side pull to ride our flatwork. Its something Ive been wanting to try for a while. Well I couldnt be prouder of him. Despite missing a little bit of the direct contact he was able to work in a lovely soft frame in walk trott and canter like nothing had changed at all, listening to my seat and legs like he usually does. Now to practice enough that one day we can hunt bitless! Less is more

01.01.2022 Well here we go! Smoke was gastroscoped this morning. We found pyloric ulcers requiring carafate to treat (not just the ulcer paste that I had been using) also we found some stomach ulcers, not too bad, likely already much improved from the ulcershield paste. The good news is this is very fixable. The bad news is it becomes very expensive for treatment! Dont worry, my horses always get everything they need so hell be well looked after and hopefully back on track ...very soon. In other news School holidays next week and my son is hanging with his Dad for a couple of weeks! Ive got plenty of time on my hands Why not book a groundwork session or a come meet my horses session for you and the kids?
